We are very selective in the breeding process to ensure the very best bloodlines. We are equally as selective in our homing process to ensure that our pups are going to long-term homes where they will be tre

ated as members of the family. Our oh-so-Handsome and on-premises Stud is Samson. All of our litters are AKC registered and we comply with all AKC guidelines including not letting our pups leave our premises until the age of 8 weeks. Further we remain in contact with all families beyond send-off so to ensure the pups are well-placed and remaining healthy and well-cared for. All our puppies are microchipped with a lifetime registration and we guarantee that we will take back any of our dogs to ensure that none ever end up in a shelter.

**UPDATE** Bailey, who is such a sweetheart, has been re-homed with friends of ours. She is in great hands and is already loved!!!

We have a 2 year old AKC chocolate female, Bailey, becoming available for re-homing. She’s GORGEOUS and from Daisy’s babies 💕💕💕 She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. Please reach out to me via PM if you feel you may be a good fit for her and we can discuss the details. We would 💯 keep her ourselves if we could!

A WINTER PUPPY - IS IT A GOOD IDEA?

Some of you may be wondering about the pros and cons of a winter Puppy. Well, it really is a bit of both. I’m sure the cons are obvious… frequent toilet trips outside when it might be cold. However, there are some BIG plus's….

* In the early days most behavioral training is done inside where there are less distractions, taking it outside is an advanced stage.

* While taking a puppy outside in the cold winter weather for potty trips may be a bit inconvenient, it actually encourages your puppy to do their business quickly and not be distracted by leaves, grass, small animals and sticks but rather to focus on the deed at hand and not spend a prolonged period of time outdoors - they want to do their business and come back inside just as quickly as you do.

* Less muddy paws!!! The ground tends to be frozen so you will likely experience a lot less little muddy footprints on your floors from the exploration of mud puddles.

* For the first 8 weeks puppy socialization is your main focus. This is really important. This is about exposing your puppy to all sorts of people, places, experiences and noises, much of which can be indoors, such as supervised puppy socialization sessions, dog training lessons, cafes, different animals/ dog friendly shops, happy vet experiences, train/bus journeys/ meeting kids/old people etc., (hearing washing machine, hoover, other household gadgets)

* Walks as we imagine them are a LONG way off when you bring puppy home, learning to walk on a lead is an advanced skill and a 5 minute practice of good lead walking is the goal rather than a walk where you get somewhere. Proper lead practice and training first inside then for very short stints will mean your puppy is ready for walks when the weather improves.

* A young puppy needs restricted exercise while growing, long walks come later - a puppy should not be taken on long walks until they are several months old after their pads are fully calloused.

* It can actually help the process of potty training. When a door is always left open for puppy to come in and out (in the spring/summer/fall) they may not learn to communicate their need to go out with you. This is rarely an issue with winter puppies.

* It may encourage you to do your vital training exercises inside in the evenings when you are more likely to be at home, and this is a great way to bond with your puppy.

* You may be less likely to be going on vacation for a while so you can concentrate on your puppy those vital early months of good lead walking is the goal rather than a walk where you get somewhere. Our Story

Welcome to the Warholic Family Kennels (est. 2011)! Every one of our puppies are family raised, in our home, and each of our adults only produce one litter per year to keep them in the best of help and not to over-strain them. We are very selective in the breeding process to ensure the very best bloodlines. We are equally as selective in our homing process to ensure that our pups are going to permanent homes where they will be treated as members of the family. Our very beautiful females are Honey (retired), Roxy, Daisy & Oakley. Our newest and oh-so-Handsome and on-premises Stud is Samson. All of our adults have such wonderful temperaments and are such a huge part of our family. Every one of our litters are AKC registered and we comply with all AKC guidelines (including utilizing sales contracts, offering pet insurance, and limited health guarantees, and not letting our pups leave our premises until the age of 8 weeks). Further we remain in contact with our families beyond the transaction so to ensure the pups are well-placed and remaining healthy and well-cared for.
