Every Cat's Dream Our mission is to take the sick, injured and abandoned off the streets. Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome into wonderful homes. We decided to switch gears!

While we will still help with dog placements, our main goal is to help the never ending stray cat population. Our goal is to r

educe the number of stray cats in our area by providing spay and neuter clinics. Some stray cats will need to be released back to their colonies, but if we get our hands on any that are adoptable, we will bring them into our adoption program. So many of stray cats are adoptable! We plan to work hard in placing any cats or kittens into foster homes until they are ready for adoption. 85% of the cats we have in our care are stray cats brought into us from Broome County. Parrot & Badger are ready for back-to-school… and for their forever home!
These two don’t like to be alone, so should either be adopted together or with another young, playful cat their age (approx. 5 months). Parrot is spayed, Badger is neutered, and each are UTD on shots. Badger is long and lanky, bold and playful, and has a near constant, thunderous purr. Parrot is a silky, stumpy-tailed beauty who is slightly more cautious, but fun-loving and sweet.

Hi, my name is Whitley. I am 10 weeks old. I am a SUPER sweet little girl who was dumped off at an Amish farm. A kind couple saw me there in a cage with a 'free' sign on it. They contacted my foster mom and she said to grab me and take me home for a few hours until she could take me. When I saw my foster mom, I started purring, making biscuits and rolling on my back. I am a very happy girl and just want to cuddle with her instead of playing with my new friends. I will be at the next adoption event.

Our custom stencil hat burning event with Sister Chics Hat Bar will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 1:00-5:00 at Kelly’s Sports Bar in Endicott.

You will have your choice of Fedora hat colors, different style stencils, the use of the hat burning tool (with direction from Cortney) and a variety of accessories to complete your creation.

There will be door prizes and raffles. Food and beverage available for purchase.

The cost is only $75 to create a one-of-a-kind hat that is truly your very own! No one else in the world will have one exactly like yours!!

What a day this past Saturday! Mother Nature graced us with sunny skies and warm temperatures!

Our first annual Putt-Putt Purrlooza is under our belt and boy was it a big success!

Thank you to CK’Sters for hosting our inaugural miniature golf fundraiser and to Spencer for your help with organizing this event.

Thank you to Stu’s for hosting our after golf luncheon and to Mary Kay for your help with the menu selection and awesome food! It was a huge hit!

Thank you Jody for helping me with the raffle tickets. Teamwork is key to a successful event and you are definitely a team player!

And to everyone who chose to spend their Saturday with us, a huge Every Cat’s Dream THANK MEW!

We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the support of the people in our community! Each of you plays a key part in helping us to continue to help the many cats and kittens in need.

As we are an all volunteer rescue, ALL money raised from our fundraising events goes directly back to the rescue to pay for food, shelter, vaccines , spay/neuter and medical care for those housed at the adoption center and to those in foster care. Also, some of that money is put towards paying down our extensive vet bill.

As the saying goes “it takes a village” and our village of supporters are amazing! — feeling grateful.

We care for over 100 cats/kittens at our rescue. We need volunteers for cleaning shifts. The hours we are looking for is 8:30 to 1 but can do split shifts (even a couple hours).

Our Story

We are a New York State Rescue! Our Rescue Registration No. is RR169. We are a full service rescue! We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, reptiles, etc. no snakes or spiders though, sorry... We help every animal find their new home! Our adoption center is located inside of the Petco Store in Johnson City. All animals will be viewed there. Our sanctuary is located in Greene, we do not view animals at that location. We house the old, and animals being treated for sickness at the Greene location.
