Every Cat's Dream Our mission is to take the sick, injured and abandoned off the streets. Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome into wonderful homes. We decided to switch gears!

Every Cat's Dream Adoption Center Please email [email protected] for info We have been a dog rescue for many years but have decided the best way for us to help the Community is to start a Trap Neuter and Release program. While we will still help with dog placements, our main goal is to help the never ending stray cat population. Our goal is to r

educe the number of stray cats in our area by providing spay and neuter clinics. Some stray cats will need to be released back to their colonies, but if we get our hands on any that are adoptable, we will bring them into our adoption program. So many of stray cats are adoptable! We plan to work hard in placing any cats or kittens into foster homes until they are ready for adoption. 85% of the cats we have in our care are stray cats brought into us from Broome County. Welp - this made my week!!

Remember my post this weekend of Kent Kitty?! Well - here’s the happy ending we really weren’t expecting!

Happy Life Munchie!

So today a really nice woman came in after she saw our post from the weekend about Kent Kitty. She was adamant that he is her missing cat from 2023. After looking over photographs and talking to her in detail we were able to confirm that it is in fact him. She said I’ll do whatever I have to do. I just want to take him home!

So we went over the issues that had been presented to us by previous adopters and discussed at length any issues he may have based on what they’ve told us and she decided to take him home. From what she said he had gotten out back in 2023 and she put up flyers and looked all over the neighborhood and was never able to find him. She always assumed that someone had stolen him. for those that don’t remember, Kent and another cat were brought to the pet hotel and were meant to stay for a couple days…which turned into a couple weeks… and then a couple months… before they joined the rescue.

Quite a journey for such a nice boy! Happy life munchie!

Update - please note - we need a certain kind of home for Kent Kitty. He is AMAZING in the right home. Other kitties tend to make Kent a bit nervous and kids also make him a bit uneasy. A calmer home is best for this guy. He LOVES his people just may not want to share his people with little ones. A bit of a tall order we know - but he’s worth it!

We are trying to finish some of our tnr locations and came across these…. Amazingly three traps were set and 5 were caught. Heading back to the location on Saturday to hopefully catch the next group of kittens. Every year we think it will get better but it does not. This group will be headed to Spay Neuter Save Network on Tuesday to get altered.

10 more kittens to go😞, cross your fingers we catch them all; then mamas need to be trapped😳

Thank you to all that came out to support Kaleidoscope Health and Rescue and Every Cat’s Dream on Friday! Brooks BBQ was a huge success. We did have a few meals left over and they were donated to Home Depot and our local law enforcement. All monies raised were put toward our medical bill at Dickin Memorial Animal Hospital so we can continue to help the sick, injured and abandoned cats and kittens in our area. We are truly blessed with the help from the community!

Oliver- 9 month old bully breed. This boy has had an awful start to life. Being found with his siblings on the side of the road. All of them were extremely emaciated and stunted. Oliver is now thriving in his foster home and made very quick progress. He does great with the 3 other dogs in the home who are a lot bigger than he is. Perfect cuddle bug. Our Story

We are a New York State Rescue! Our Rescue Registration No. is RR169. We are a full service rescue! We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, reptiles, etc. no snakes or spiders though, sorry... We help every animal find their new home! Our adoption center is located inside of the Petco Store in Johnson City. All animals will be viewed there. Our sanctuary is located in Greene, we do not view animals at that location. We house the old, and animals being treated for sickness at the Greene location.
