The City of Vicksburg Shelter has so many wonderful animals for adoption we get in daily that needs a loving home. Adoption Fees are as follows, Cat $80 & Dog $100, includes spay/neuter, & basic vaccinations. Any other animal's adoption fee depends on the cost to us to set up for that animal. We are closed on: Saturday and Sunday. Thank you in advance. Volunteer hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-11:00 & 1:00-3:00. And please update us with pictures if you have adopted from us, we love to see how the fur babies are doing.

Our Story

The City of Vicksburg Shelter has so many wonderful animals for adoption we get in daily that needs a loving home. Adoption fees are as follows Cats $60 (unless already fixed then it’s $30) Dogs $85 (unless already fixed then it’s $40), includes spay/neuter, & basic vaccinations. All other animals that we may have for adoption the fee depends on the cost for us to set up for that animal. We have had animals from Guinea Pigs all the way to Horses.
