We also have a handsome Anatolian Shepard named Loki! This big boy is up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, and is fixed! He was also a surrender who needs a very loving and caring home! He prefers small groups of pups to play with! It would be best for him to be in a home with older children, 12+!! Even through he is a large fluffball, he identifies as a small lap dog! Looking is an all around fun loving goof that would love to keep you company and on cuddle on quiet evenings!

We would like to introduce a sweet girl we are currently fostering who is up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm negative! At the moment she is not fixed, but will be prior to adoption! Sparkles was brought to us as an owner surrender through the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter! She opened up to us almost immediately! She plays very well with others and loves getting attention! She would do very well in a home with other dogs and children! She is very playful and loves to be active by running around outside and playing with any toy she can get her paws on!

#2 Have you ever heard of the Newfoundland dog breed's incredible swimming abilities? These water-loving dogs have webbed feet and a water-resistant coat, making them excellent swimmers. They even have a history of rescuing people from drowning! 🌊🐾

#3 Did you know that the Basenji dog breed is often referred to as the "barkless dog"? This unique breed doesn't bark like other dogs but makes a unique yodel-like sound instead. How fascinating is that? 🐕❤️

#4 Did you know that the Dachshund breed was originally bred to hunt badgers? Their long bodies and short legs allowed them to enter badger dens easily. That's why their name translates to "badger hound" in German! 🦡🐕

Our precious girl passed away early this morning. We had the honor of taking care of her through all her challenges and loving her. Many people have been cheering for Pearl while she battled so many obstacles. Heartworms just proved to be just too much to handle. We are going to miss our happy house hippo. Our hearts are truly broken.

Our sweet Pearl is in the hospital tonight and could use some prayers.
