We chose the name SonFlowers because it encompasses our faith and our mutual love of sunflowers. We are located in Vicksburg, Michigan. My Mom owns TJ, a male brown mackerel tabby with white and is a 2wd poly. He is King of the house weighing in at 23lbs. at 4 year old. He has since been retired. She has Cappie, our 2nd breeding male who has also been retired. Sapphire and Meadow are our retired Q

ueens and also remain with my Mom as a "Spoiled/Well-loved Retiree". Our Queens and Future Queens LilyGrace, Wonder and Stella. I currently have two retired Queens Autumn and Zaielah. Autumn is a brown patch tabby with white. Zaielah is a black smoke tortie with white. They were our "Foundation Queens" and have remained with me. I also have Kevin who is Autumn's first born. He's my "baby" at 18lbs and is living a spoiled life as a neutered boy. Our Future Sire is Gabe. We imported him from the Netherlands in October 2020. Gabe is a black smoke tabby with white who has odd eyes. Gabe carries a gene that enables his kittens to possibly have blue eyes.....we are slightly excited! Our kittens will be registered and will remain here in our home until they reach the age of 12 weeks. They will be up to date with their vaccines and vet examinations before leaving for their approved forever homes. They will be registered with TICA. They will have a 1 year health guarantee as well. If you are interested in one of our kittens or have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I do not have an application at this time, but have a list of questions for you and will also need a vet referral. We will have a contract for you to view and will requires a deposit to hold a kitten. Kitten prices will vary between $1800 and $2300. Thank you for visiting our page!! Robin and Karen

***CLOVER IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE*** ❤❤❤
Due to no fault of her own, Clover has become AVAILABLE. Her family and I have made the extremely tough decision that Clover needs to be in a quiet home with no dogs.
She is up to date with her yearly vaccines except she needs her Feline Leukemia Booster next month. She has her TICA registration papers and health records available.
She is almost 5 months old. Please message me directly for the requirements for her perfect home.

Our precious Monica was supposed to go home with her new Mom and Dad today. We all were so excited to watch this beautiful girl grow and bring so much love into the lives of those she would continue to touch.
Unfortunately, God had different plans for Monica. Monica wasn't herself on Friday evening and didn't want to eat or play. I could see that she just didn't feel well, but thought that it may have been due to her getting her second vaccine on Wednesday and hoped she would improve by morning. When I checked on her Saturday morning, it was apparent that she was not doing well and began showing signs of discomfort that we had not seen before. She lost the ability to walk and even hold herself upright. She would cry out with an agonal moan and then be peaceful lying against my Mom's chest or mine. She was listening to us talk and would watch us, but still would have moments that she would moan and almost do a stretch. We gave Monica oral fluids, which she took without a fuss, but had no interest in food. I made a call to Katie, her new Mom, to get her thoughts about Monica since she and her husband have fostered kittens and puppies similar to Monica. Katie and I both knew that the outlook for Monica was grim. I kept looking for any glimmer of hope that Monica would show signs of improvement as I made our way to the ER with her.
As I waited in the exam room with Monica I talked to her about how much we loved her and that many others have fallen in love with her as well. I thanked her for her spunky and loving personality. I told her how much I loved it when she would reach up to hold my face and lick my cheeks, my nose and my lips and then would suckle on my lips......she sucked my heart out of my chest the first time she did this ❤ I talked to her with a smile and tears running down my face. I prayed......God showed me that we were making the right decision. Monica began to push with her front legs, began this howling moan and her eyes went into nystagmis motion....she was seizing. It was at that moment that all doubts left me about whether or not we were making the best or right decision with Monica. The vet reassured me that the decision was the right one and also mentioned the same thing that Katie did "with congenital neurological defects, you never know if there are more underlying conditions that we cannot see".

Needless to say, our hearts are broken 💔 Monica touched our hearts and made me realize that so many people are capable of loving an animal that many breeders would have not given a chance.....I was commended by a few people for giving Monica a chance to live!! My Mom and I didn't think there was any other option.....she was born alive and our job, our mission was to help her thrive!
I won't lie that I was a little anxious when she was born and I saw her cleft lip. I was worried that she would have a cleft palate too, but saw that it was not (we learned weeks later that she did have a pinhole in the very front of her palate). My first thoughts were "We have got this!" When I noticed that she didn't have good balance, but could still manuever herself to walk and then run, I knew her feisty personality was going to be okay! Monica taught me so much about her condition and her love of life, but also about what I was capable of doing when we were given the opportunity to help her thrive.
In her almost 10 weeks, Monica brought a lot of enjoyment and love into our home/cattery. Her love was unconditional and she definitely left her pawprints on our hearts. We were there when she took her first breath and I was there when she took her last ❤ Monica left her earthly home in my hands and peacefully entered her heavenly home on Saturday, May 18th.

God allowed us to care for this precious girl and we are thankful. We are never guaranteed tomorrow, but we know that all Monica every knew was love ❤

Thank you to everyone who has followed Monica and who fell in love with her. You noticed her becoming stronger and became her biggest cheerleaders ❤ My Mom and I send hugs to you all because we know this hurts your hearts as well.

Our Story

We are a Mother/Daughter partnership who love the Maine C**n breed. We chose the name SonFlowers because it encompasses our faith and our mutual love of sunflowers. We are located in Vicksburg, Michigan. My Mom owns TJ, a male brown mackerel tabby with white and is a 2wd poly. He is King of the house weighing in at 22 lbs. at 1 1/2 years old. TJ was our first male foundation breeder who has since been neutered and remains with my Mom as a spoiled retiree. Cappie and Wonder were imported from Domus Draco of the Netherlands. They are brother and sister and will not be bred together. Cappie has become “King of the House” and fathered a litter with Sapphire last year (2019). Cappie is blue and white and is a 4wd poly. Wonder has not been bred yet as we are finding a suitable male for her to be paired with. We are hopeful that she will have a litter later this summer (2020). Wonder is a brown patch tabby with white and is also a 4wd poly. Both Cappie and Wonder reside with my Mom. Sapphire came to us from HissyFit in South Carolina. She had her first and only litter on May 5, 2019. She developed pyometra after her kittens were weaned and was spayed. Sapphire has remained with my Mom as she has become a “Momma’s Girl”. Last fall, we imported LilyGrace from Heart Stealers in Hungary. She is a black tortie. We are hopeful that she and Cappie will have their first litter in late summer 2020. I currently have our two foundation females, Autumn and Zaielah. Autumn is a brown patch tabby with white. Zaielah is a black smoke tortie with white whose Momma was imported from Russia. Autumn and Zaielah's Daddy carries imported lines from Italy. The girls, as I refer to them, have free roam in our home and are also referred to as "Double Trouble"....they are inseparable. Autumn and Zaielah were spayed after their first litters due to health concerns that arose with Zaielah and her kittens. Zaielah and her kittens were found to have an Autoimmune Deficiency, but are living healthy lives with proper vet care. Autumn and her kittens have all remained healthy. Our kittens will be TICA registered and will remain here in our home until they reach the age of 12 weeks. They will have all of their shots current and their vet records before leaving for their approved forever homes. They will have a 1 year health guarantee as well. Shipping can be arranged at the expense of the BUYER. We also reserve the right to cancel a contract due to any health concerns of a kitten, concerns that arise about the proposed buyer and if we see qualities in a kitten that would benefit our breeding program. Kittens will not be made “Available” for adoption until they are at least 2 weeks of age. If you are interested in one of our kittens or have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We do have an application with a list of questions for you and will also need a vet referral. We will have a contract for you to view and will require a minimum of a $300 deposit to hold a kitten. Kitten prices will vary between $1500 and $1800. Thank you for visiting our page!! Robin and Karen SonFlowers Maine C***s
