Feb 15-16 - UKI show
Feb 28 - Friday Night Speed Night - UKI
Mar 2 - Sun - Speedway Run Throughs and Mock trial - NEW in 2025. Speedway is all ground work using tunnels, barrels and hoops, good for dogs of all ages. We will also set a jumpers class last (just jumps and tunnels), can be done at any height and will be used to teach various trial jobs (scribe, time, gate, leash, and bar setting). See entry form for details.

Tomorrow is our first Power'd Up UKI show of 2025. We will be taking day of show entries from from 7:45 am - 8:15 am each morning. We are looking forward to playing with pups under our awesome judge, Joel Basa.

We will allow mulligan runs this weekend for $5 per run.

To all the people that supported our December 2024 Holiday show or didn’t and supported us in raising funds to donate to Not One More Vet, we received this letter yesterday and I wanted to share it with everyone as we would not have been able to make such a generous donation without you.

Thank you again to all the veterinary professionals for all you do and we thank you for caring for our animals.

We have lots coming up in 2025. New to Power'd Up, we will be hosting CPE Speedway, our first official show will be Sat, Apr 5th. This is great for dogs 1 year and older, they just need a CPE number to enter. (https://cpe.dog/members/).

This is all groundwork but can help with building drive, forward motion, obstacle focus etc. All in all, it can just be fun for pups of any age as there is no jumping, contacts or weaves required.

We will be hosting some run throughs before this show to allow you to try it out.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I feel like there is not enough thank yous to give for all the people that supported our Power’d Up Holiday Show! We played agility but even more importantly people were in the giving mood. Between a couple friends who gave directly to Not One More Vet (NOMV.ORG), sent me money, our anonymous matching donor, our entries, the 50/50 raffle that Hooch/Joy Moll graciously donated it all back, the mulligan runs, mom’s cookie sales, and other donations - WE RAISED $5000! Yes in total $5000 - $220 direct donations, $2000 matching donor, and $2,780 raised with entries, mulligan runs, 50/50, cookies and donations. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to everyone. Happy Holidays and can’t wait to see you all again in 2025.

Great news with a few donations from great friends who could not come to play, Craig and Kathy Chittenden, Amy O, Lynn Broderick, mom’s Christmas cookie sales and all the awesome people who came to Power’d Up to play today, we are over $2200 and counting. We also have a 50/50 raffle going on and those $ are not yet counted. We are hoping to get to $2500 or more tomorrow and with the matching donation we will be able to give $4500 to Not One More Vet (nomv.org)! Thank you to everyone who came today and supported us and this organization. We are so thankful to our veterinary professionals and we are so excited to be supporting them this year. Remember to thank your veterinary professionals not only today but everyday! Happy Holidays!

Super excited to tell everyone we have an anonymous donor for our Dec 14-15 UKI show supporting NOT ONE MORE VET (nomv.org), this donor will match every dollar we raise up to $2000! Whooohooo! I am so grateful and thankful for their support.

We are going to have a great show and there is still time to enter and to join us for our favorite show of the year. Based on the feedback that I have gotten from folks planning to enter our Dec 14-15 UKI Holiday show supporting NOT ONE MORE VET (NOMV - https://nomv.org/), we will have the show. We will be accepting late entries for the show and we are super excited to be supporting all the Veterinary Professionals and their mental well being through NOMV.

We hope you come and play with your pups and enjoy the holiday giving vibes.

Entries Close tomorrow for our Dec 14-15 Holiday and Give Back show. Please note at this time, we do not have enough entries (we have 5 entries) to hold the show which is so unfortunate. If you are planning to come, it would be helpful to know. We will see what we get tomorrow and make a decision by the end of this week. It’s always been one of our most favorite shows and this year we are hoping to support - Not One More Vet.

If we don’t hold the show, we wish everyone a great holiday season and will hopefully see you in 2025.

Update: everything is SOLD!

We have some agility equipment for sale:

Teeter $600 - Max 200 custom made teeter with beveled ends so that it doesn't cut into the turf. We are including the teeter mover and the stabilizer bar - total retail value $900.

12 weaves, 24" spacing $200, these retail for $445.

We are still accepting entries for our Oct 12-13 UKI Show at Power'd Up in Victor NY. Mike Hughson will be judging for us, so come join us for some fun with your pups. The premium can be found online at the UKI site or on the documents page on our Power'd Up site at www.powerdupagility.com .

Darryl and Tina Power established Power'd Up Agility in April 2016 to provide agility training and events for current and future agility enthusiasts.

Good News and Bad News.

Good: We will hold our USDAA/UKI show next weekend.

Bad: The show is so small that we will NOT hold a future USDAA show at SBF, we honestly can't afford too. We will continue to contemplate doing UKI and will make a decision regarding those.

We do want to thank everyone who has entered, we are so grateful for the support and we look forward to having fun with you all and your pups.

Our combo USDAA/UKI show to be held at Sugar Bush Farm on Sept 27-29 is OPEN for entries. We are lacking entries so if you are planning to come, please let me know so we can make a final decision. I don't need to know if you can't make it, that will not help us make the decision.

We have Carol Voelker coming in from MN to judge and we would love to have her out on the East Coast again. So please consider coming to play with your pups at one of the prettiest sites you will see especially in the Fall!
