This is the horse that Ashley wrote about on her personal Facebook that she had under contract with us to purchase him.

She said he was untrained and scared of people. I (William) was the one that put the training on this boy since the day he was born. I stopped when he was under contract to be purchased. I do not put training on horses for free.

This is the horse Ashley had put money down on that she said in her post on her personal Facebook that was untrained and scared of people.

I (William) personality trained this horse as a foal and he is now two years old. I've been working with him since he has been born with the exception when Ashley had him under contract because I do not put training on horses for free.

Yes, I am being sarcastic saying he's so scared of people, etc. Because that is what Ashely has put out there about this boy!

It has been very difficult for me to sit inside the last three days due to weather. I am great full for what I was able to accomplish on Monday before the storms moved in.

I did however take some time out yesterday to spend some time with Cash To The Max - Castiel. I am looking forward to getting him back into my training program.

Castiel is only two this year. There isn't a whole lot of things to really do with him except groundwork. I covered a lot of that with him as foal. I am going to go back over what he knows, improve upon it and add some new training on him.

I will have to remember to setup the tripod for my phone with my Bluetooth remote to get videos of my work. I'm not use to having to do things this way. I used to have help. My daughter and her boyfriend helped me out. With them gone it's just me.

I'm not going to slow down with the horses until the day of surgery. I put off several months last year due to being told my surgery would be coming up this month or this month. When that didn't happen it really shut me down mentally and me frustrated. I lost so much time that I needed with several of the foals last year. Can't fix the past have to create a better future by doing even the smallest of things each day.

This is my focus...

Castiel - Goining over groundwork he knows, improve upon it and teach him some new things.

The Nu Bounty Hunter - Riddick - Mostly going to work on picking up his feet. He was really good then now he won't pick up his feet without some struggling. He knows how to catch, lead, load, and groom. He needs to learn to tie and be bathed. Simple things to train for.

Hot Chic N Hollywood - Calypso - I am just going to cover basic groundwork exercises and work to more advanced ones. She catches, leads, loads, picks up her feet, ties, bathes, grooms, stands for the farrier. She's a really good girl.

There are more horses for this list. I'm just going to stop here...

Barbies In Hollywood - Ruin

This girl gets tones of time out. She's used for our riding lesson program and our program for the disabled riders. Not only that we have a friend that devoted a lot of their time with her. I have been enjoying her too.

These photos were taken on February 10th, 2025 right before I taked her up and rode her around. Walking, trotting, cantering, etc.

We worked on going from a standstill into a trot.
We worked on going from a standstill into a canter.
I even took her over ground poles and around a barrel racing pattern.

She did everything I asked!

💥Warning to breeders and horse sellers💥

So this person named Ashley was interested in Cas the AHA pinto we were advertising for $6,500 last year...Ashley put money down on him in September/October then when board came up she backed out. November comes around and she wants to purchase Cas again. We credited her the payments she made in September/October. Once board came around again she backed out. December comes around and no payments received by Ashley. January of 2025 rolls around and she wants the horse again. She sends money discusses she can't afford board and payments so waved the boarding fee until he was paid off in full. Did say if she can't make a payment towards him to pay at least $125 for board. Since sometime in. June to today February 11th. She has done nothing but say I'm not getting him then coming back saying she is getting him. Yesterday I posted my Arab gelding for $1,500. Now she sees the post, she now doesn't want Cas, he's too much. She'll take Re*****on. So what did I do? I traded off all the credit towards Cas to Re*****on that was paid in 2025. I wake up today with how Re*****on isn't going to work out. She's just going to go with Cas she's put too much money into him, etc. Then she wrote a public apology tagging Steph and our Ranch. Only later she wanted a release of liability signed by all of us and her farrier. I told her she needed to talk with the farrier about that. What happens? She declines getting Cas and I find this through our Ranch page because she's blocked me! 📌Her post about me, our Ranch, how we breached the contract, how Cas is too much, blabbering about his training etc is in the photos.📌She has blocked the Viking Ranch page after the reply.

The weather really has been something else.
Since Monday we have had wind. I'm not talking about a breeze. I'm talking about 17 and 22 miles per hour wind. The wind is going to continue into tomorrow with winds past 22 miles per hour. Depending on the wind will depend if horses get turn out and worked with.

I am back and in action. I have had several days off due to job related work that is outside of Viking Ranch. I even came down with a migraine the one day. Despite the weather I am trying to get out there with the horses. Obviously high winds and rain will stop me which the rain we had did. It left things unsafe for several days. I have had Dr appointments down the hill in Palm Springs cuz my Dr's are in Palm Springs and San Diego.

I have surgery coming up. I found out that it is a three step possibility of four steps. Which means I will have 9 to 12 months off working with the horses. This hurts me! I gotta do what I gotta do.

I will know more about a closer surgery date on March 12th when I get to set up for pre op surgery date. Thos has been a long time in the making since March 27th of 2023.

I literally put a year off working with the horses cuz I was told surgery would be in March/April of 2024. I was being careful on not getting hurt. Working with foals and yearlings you can never expect what they will do. Precaution is the best medicine if you know you're about to have surgery.

This time I'm not slowing down. If I accidentally get hurt. I get hurt. If I don't that is even better. Typically I don't get hurt. It's just for safety cuz surgery is more important.

Cold start to the morning after several days of rain then rain and snow, impacting my training schedule again. Not going to be able to do what I had planned with the c**ts today, unfortunately. Ground's too slick from the rain for safe riding, or groundwork. Hopefully, these temps will rise soon and dry the ground up so we can get back to our regular routine. Disappointing to lose training time, but the safety of the horses comes first.

I haven't been posting much as far as training or weather that has been going on in our area. That is because I have been battling the weather to get back on track and then my mental state.

I got a lot done 9n Saturday January 25, 2025. I worked from 10 am to 5 pm on the Ranch. I got a lot done but not everything.

Unfortunately Sunday 26, 2025 of January the weather has been so unpredictable. We've had wind and rain. Now snow fall starting at 12 am.

Tho the cooler temps I have been out feed breakfast and lunch whilst my son does the night feeding. Yes, we feed our horses three times a day.

I am working up to free feeding Bermuda, giving their grain and supplements like Horse Guard and Nu Image daily. I have my horses on Tribute Resolve. All due to the Hygain crap going on.

Now that surgery has been pushed back until anywhere from March to June. I am doing what I can on farrying our horses at Viking Ranch to stallion advertisements for Whyte Dragon Productions.
