Cold start to the morning after several days of rain then rain and snow, impacting my training schedule again. Not going to be able to do what I had planned with the colts today, unfortunately. Ground's too slick from the rain for safe riding, or groundwork. Hopefully, these temps will rise soon and dry the ground up so we can get back to our regular routine. After I turned off the camera which in this case was my IPhone 15 Plus. I was able to walking right up with the halter in my hands and halter her without issues.

Titans Dakota Blond is the granddaughter of Epic Titan.
This video was filmed by me during our catching session. Jolene has developed a bad habit of not wanting to be caught. She will do everything possible to keep you from catching her. I only worked with Jolene one other time outside of this session that took place on November 1, 2024.
Last time I tried catching her to cover some groundwork that she needs done. She allowed me to walk up to her once my arm was over her neck to slip the halter up her nose she spun around and knocked me down.
Once I was back on my feet I tried catching her again and this time she ran around the stall like I was lunging her.
She eventually chilled out and I proceeded to try and halter her again only for her to push through me with my arm over her neck and I was in the middle of trying to slip the halter on when she pushed threw me knocking me down again.
I just worked with her until she decided she was better off being caught.
That day I went out several times and played the catching game with her and this is the outcome of our session several days ago.
