Lace up for Consideration

Lace is a Grade, Buckskin Mare. 17 yrs old, Standing at 15 hh. UTD on farrier, vaccines, dewormer and teeth. Leads, loads and ties well, will stand tied as well. No buck, bolt, kick, rear or bite. She’s sound and healthy. Lace is out or registered stock, with roping and reining bloodlines. She’ll watch and track a cow. She’s been used in brandings and will rope and drag to the fire. She’s great in the arena or out in the open. She’s not a huge fan of water, but she’ll cross it just fine. Lace is a heck of a trail horse and as sure footed as they come. Lace is KIDDO SAFE!!! She’s been the go to girl on a Colorado ranch, primarily ridden by an older gentleman and his young granddaughter. Shes been hauled all over and has seen the sights. Good with gunfire and canons at rodeos and all the hustle and bustle that comes with the rodeo seen. Can be a little higher in the herd, but mostly minds her own business. Dally is a grade, sorrel mare. 15 yrs old, standing at 15hh. UTD on vaccines and deworming, current negative coggins. Leads, loads and ties well. Dally is Sound and healthy! She’s Low in the herd, a super Easy keeper and Not Marish. No buck, bite, bolt, kick or rear. Dally has a sweet and curious personality. She’s been a great trail horse and has primarily been a ranch rodeo horse in her life. She’s fancy broke with all the buttons. Can rope off her, drag, and sort. I’m nice she gets wound up she can be a little hot, but nothing naughty or unmanageable. She’d do great for a handy kid, or for a confident beginner on up. Dally will ride out alone or in a group. Rambler up for Consideration

Rambler is a Grade, Gray gelding. 10 yrs old, standing at 15hh. UTD on vaccines and deworming, current negative coggins. Low in the herd. Rambler will self load in a trailer, leads like a perfect gentleman and travels well. Rambler is very well broke, he has all the fancy buttons, both on the ground and under saddle. He has done some speed events, but is a finished heel horse. He does great on the trails, will go out alone or in a group. Not buddy or barn sour. No spook, buck, bolt, bite, kick or rear. Rambler is push button and does just fine with time off. Would recommend at least a confident beginner-intermediate rider on up, but would definitely make a great horse for a handy kiddo. Hey Angel Ranch friends and family. Unfortunately Miss Kate had a nasty wreck on a trail ride yesterday. Long story short she went head first onto a rock. She suffered a nasty 10” laceration on her head. She spent about two hours in surgery to close her scalp back up. Luckily she has no brain bleeds or fractures on her skull. Right now we are asking for prayers. We might get to go home tomorrow. The good lord has sure been at work. To our clients please be patient with us over the next few days. We will probably be a bit slower on our responses. Thank you to everyone for your love, support, and business.

Red up for Consideration

Red is a 15 year old, 16hh, sorrel gelding. UTD on vaccines, deworming and teeth, has a current negative coggins that expires soon. Currently Barefoot and can be shod if preferred. Good for the farrier, leads, loads, hard ties and ground ties. He’s being sold as grade, but it said to have come off the Pitzer ranch as an own son of Mr Barron Red and own grandson of Two Eyed Jack. Is mid to high in the herd. He is a finished rope horse on both ends and will rope and drag. He’s a fantastic trail horse and will work all day. Can be cold backed when left to sat for long periods, but is happiest in a working environment with a few times a week ride minimum. He needs at least an intermediate rider. He can be pushy with his face and nose when he’s not checked on it, so his next owner needs to have some confidence with horses! Ready to go out and work and ride! Located in Salida, CO. Scarlet is a grade paint mare. 13 yrs old standing at 14.3hh. UTD on vaccines and deworming. Current negative coggins. This flashy mare has a baldface with one blue eye. Scarlet is barefoot, healthy and sound. Good for the farrier and for grooming. Leads loads and ties. Tacks up and untacks easily. Rides in a bit and bridal or hack/bosal/halter and lead. Not a huge fan of having her mouth messed with but isn’t terrible with it. Has a nice WTL. She’s a nice trail horse and is good with water and muddy terrain. Needs an intermediate rider and up at this point, cause she can be a little peppy/spicy when she’s excited. She’s good with dogs and other livestock, low-mid level in the herd. She does have some cow experience, but primarily been a trail horse. No buck, kick, bite, bolt or rear. This girl is all legs, with a sweet and chill personality. She will be a little nervous the first few minutes of a ride, but moves on out really well. Mojo up for Consideration

Mojo is piebald, spotted draft, pony cross gelding. 2-3 yrs old and 14.2-14.3hh. UTD on vaccines and deworming. Current negative coggins. Broke to ride and drive, but has mainly been used as a riding horse for kids. He’s Currently shedding like crazy and will slick out closer to a black color. This guy needs his feet trimmed, and a little bit of weight put back on, but he’s healthy and sound outside of that! This guy has some flashy color with two blue eyes, with black all the way around both eyes. He’s from an omish community born and raised until we got him. This guy is super sweet. Dreamer up for Consideration

Dreamer is a 9 yr old, grade QH, cremallo mare. UTD on vaccines and dewormer. Current negative coggins. 15hh. Healthy and SOUND. Has great feet and does great for the farrier. Loads and unloads well and travels great! Dreamer has beautiful blue eyes and is built right! This sweet mare has been used as a kids horse for arena and trail riding. Does great with adult riders as well!! She’s not super fancy but is dog gentle and trustworthy! Walks around with a low head and is very easy going. Stands for mounting and dismounting, loves to be groomed and loved on. NOT spooky, NOT watchy! Stoney up for Consideration

Stoney is a 15 yr old, grade, red dun Gelding. Stands at 14.2-14.3hh. UTD on vaccines and deworming, current negative coggins. This guy is well broke under saddle. He has been used as an all around ranch and trail horse most of his life. Stoney is Such a sweet guy, but he does take a couple days to warm up to new people! Easy to catch and good with his feet. Leads, loads and tacks up like a perfect gentleman. He will pace a little bit when he’s hard tied and his buddies get led away, and we have NOT that behavior carry over into under saddle time.
