Attention all music lovers! Dr. Burnett will be performing at the V-Plex on the first Friday of every month starting in September, for the Senior Dance! He will also be appearing as a guest to the Velcro Pygmies at the Villa Rica Amphitheater on Friday, September 20th. Lastly, he will be performing on Saturday, September 28th for the Temple Founder's Day Celebration! Thank you to any and all that come to show support to our own Dr. Stuart Burnett!

These two sweet collie mixes were left on our doorstep…one male and one female…they have been bathed, wormed, dewormed, and had their first set of shots…
They need a forever home but don’t have to stay together…they already knew how to use a p*e pad and some of the best pups we have run across…

Today dear readers this author/administrator has a story to tell you about Doc Win of Atlanta West Veterinary Hospital…

This author has known Doc for over 35 of his 41 years as a veterinarian…unfortunately along with birth and life, death also comes along…Doc has seen a lot in his 41 plus years (the plus being he worked in his fathers vet clinic from a very young boy)…he always tries to comfort the pet and the owner during this most difficult time as he knows how hard it can be…

This author watched Doc leave a room with tears running down his face after reading this letter…41 plus years hasn’t made him immune…and it is never easy

(we will be open until 5:00pm) and get your pet some help before the next 5 days of celebration begins!

* Do you have a inside closet or bathroom you can leave your pet in with music playing?
* Make sure your pet has his ID tag on...more dogs are lost during the few days than all year...
* Have a neighbor that can stay with your precious while you are gone celebrating?

During this heatwave please help out your local critters by providing water. A woman set out a bowl of ice and this little guy was so grateful, he fell asleep cooling off on top of it. No act of kindness is ever wasted.❤️

"He's not your kid."
As I tuck him in every night.
"He's not your kid."
As I make my breakfast, I scramble him up some eggies and make sure he gets the most important meal of the day.
"He's not your kid."
As I do my laundry, I make sure his blankets/jackets and beddng (he still sleeps with us every night in OUR bed) are also clean.
"He's not your kid."
As I nursed him back to his optimal health the first few months I had him.
"He's not your kid."
As I just changed my entire career and life so I could be home with him more during the days and save for our future because I was sick of seeing him so sad on the furbo.
"He's not your kid."
As I hang his coat/blanket (one of many) on the coat hanger next to ours.
"He's not your kid."
As I pick up all his toys and place them back on his bed for him to through them everywhere as soon as he waks up from his nap.
"He's not your kid."
As I take him out yet again to play and run in the snow while my fingers are numb but he's only a puppy for so long.
"He's not your kid."
Yea, he's not my kid.
He's my heart. My world. My baby.
And for those who can't see the similarities between a puppy and a child and for those who really think a dog is really "just a dog," you must never have found your heart dog and I pray one day, you do.
