November is Adopt A Senior Pet month! So if you are thinking of adopting a new family member, please consider adopting an older pet. Puppies and kittens fly out of shelters and rescues, often leaving the older four-legged friends behind. But senior pets can make wonderful companions, and they have a lot of love to give. They just want a chance to live their golden years with a family that loves them. 💕

So to celebrate this special month, all senior cats 10 and older will have their fee waived! So be sure to check them out on our website, then come and visit during adoption hours. We are open every Saturday from 10-4 and Sunday, 1-4. Got a question about our kitties, just email [email protected]. 🥰

We have heard of this happening in the past.

Our officers would NEVER text a pet owner about finding a pet and requiring a code. We have also heard it is often an “Officer Moore” used in those messages.

This is absolutely a SCAM and it hurts us to think pet owners have to deal with this while they are frantically looking for their beloved pet.

Please call us if you lose a pet so we have a lost report on file. We will call you if your pet comes in.

Luckily, this person did not fall for the scam. You can always call the shelter if you have questions or concerns about the legitimacy of an inquiry about a lost or found pet.

Our Story

My name is Christina Walker and I am the owner of Top Dog Pet Sitter. After loving and caring for animals our entire lives, my husband Mike and I decided to turn our love into our livelihood by pursuing pet sitting full time in September 2005. We currently live in Villa Rica with our two fur babies Button & Nickel. Our kitties have their own unique personalities and we really do consider them family. They mean the world to us and we know first-hand the anxiety of leaving our babies behind when we go out of town. Having a pet sitter we can trust and depend upon is paramount to our peace of mind in those situations. This is one of the reasons Top Dog was formed!

Top Dog Pet Sitter is a professional pet sitting company providing loving in-your-home care for your fur babies when you can’t be there! At Top Dog Pet Sitter, your pets are able to stay in their own environment and enjoy their familiar routine. We keep their feeding schedule and give them plenty of love and attention (our favorite part of the job!) We consider all the pets we watch to be part of our extended family and treat them with all of the love we treat our own.

We have been in the pet sitting business for over 14 years and truly love what we do. Aside from meeting their physical needs, we also think it is important to form a bond with the pets we watch. This includes lots of affection, playtime, belly rubs and hugs to keep your pets as comfortable and happy as possible. For your peace of mind we also provide frequent updates complete with pictures and details of how the visit went. Our pet sitters are dependable and professional and trustworthy. We are confident that you will be happy you chose our pet sitting services. We put a lot of heart into our work!
