Wanna spend a day with a shelter dog? The Come Over Rover program lets you take a pup on an adventure around Carroll County! Give a shelter dog a break, help them meet potential adopters, and enjoy some furry companionship! All of the pups pictured above have been adopted after a “Come Over Rover” day, it truly makes such an impact ❤️ Because of this, Fur Babies is offering discounted cat cafe passes at only $10 for those who volunteer through the Come Over Rover program!

Shelter Hours: 12:30-4:30 Mon-Wed & Fri, 12:30-6 Thurs, 9-4 Sat, closed Sun (closed the last Friday of every month for training & deep cleaning). Dog meet-n-greets are always strongly encouraged before introducing a new pup to the family.

Vendor space is limited for freedom of movement by dog parents. We are looking for vendors that sell anything animal related, especially dog, that can help with the fur families of the community. Vendor/seller fee is $25.

Our Story

My name is Christina Walker and I am the owner of Top Dog Pet Sitter. After loving and caring for animals our entire lives, my husband Mike and I decided to turn our love into our livelihood by pursuing pet sitting full time in September 2005. We currently live in Villa Rica with our two fur babies Button & Nickel. Our kitties have their own unique personalities and we really do consider them family. They mean the world to us and we know first-hand the anxiety of leaving our babies behind when we go out of town. Having a pet sitter we can trust and depend upon is paramount to our peace of mind in those situations. This is one of the reasons Top Dog was formed!

Top Dog Pet Sitter is a professional pet sitting company providing loving in-your-home care for your fur babies when you can’t be there! At Top Dog Pet Sitter, your pets are able to stay in their own environment and enjoy their familiar routine. We keep their feeding schedule and give them plenty of love and attention (our favorite part of the job!) We consider all the pets we watch to be part of our extended family and treat them with all of the love we treat our own.

We have been in the pet sitting business for over 14 years and truly love what we do. Aside from meeting their physical needs, we also think it is important to form a bond with the pets we watch. This includes lots of affection, playtime, belly rubs and hugs to keep your pets as comfortable and happy as possible. For your peace of mind we also provide frequent updates complete with pictures and details of how the visit went. Our pet sitters are dependable and professional and trustworthy. We are confident that you will be happy you chose our pet sitting services. We put a lot of heart into our work!
