JASMINE UPDATE…..

She is finally resting. Sad to say #7 did not make it. But others are doing great and so is momma.

Nothing like a quick drive to Tennessee to save 10 precious lives.

It was a long day yesterday but well worth every mile. Got a call the day before saying if you can get them to Tennessee we can meet you and take them. So 5 am here we go. Off to Tennessee. Got back at 9 last night.
They now have a chance for a happy life. Thanks for all the help ❤️🐶

UPDATE ….
This is not the puppies face. If we break the sack it will smother. Mom is too weak to push. Puppies in x-ray are big but it was suppose to be in another week. We have delivered hundreds of puppies and when a problem accuse we bring to the vet for the saftey of the mom and babies.

Sweet Jasmine is being rushed to the vet now. Pup is mot wanting to pass.

More than likely a emergency c-section is going to be done.

UPDATE: this sweet girl now has a name. Jasmine ❤️

Beaten up from being attacked on the streets, so pregnant she can’t even walk and dumped.

This poor girl has come into our reacue needing so much help. All she can do is sit and look at you with the most loving eyes.

We did a x-ray today and found that she has 7 puppies and still has 7-10 days before she is due. (She looks like she will pop).

We may have to do a c-section on her since the pups are so large. We will know more as days go by. But we do know that her and her new babies will be needing vetting.

If we can do a $10 donation day for her that would be so much help. I know we ask a lot from our followers, But there are so many out there that need help.

Seems like all we do is beg. It has got to get better at some point.

Timothy starts his new life today with a loving foster (that i am betting will be a foster fail).

He is such a happy boy full of love and life.

Bottle puppies are all full and sleeping now. We keep everyone post as we go along.

And I hope the person that dumped these babies to die in a bag on the side of a dirt road sees them every time they close their eyes. 😡

SURGERY UPDATE: Timothy did very well and is going to his new foster tomorrow for quiet recovery. Thank you for his prayers and support. ❤️🐶

Timothy is having his reconstructive surgery today to fix what we believe is a gun shot that left a hole in the roof of his mouth.

We are needing puppy formula and bottles for these 5 day old bottle babies that was found down a gravel road in a bag.

They are very tiny and will need 24 hour care. But for now they are safe and doing well.

This sweet boy is Timothy. He was found laying dying in a ditch in Basile after what looks like a gun shot under his neck and into the top of his mouth.

He now has a hole in his pallet and has trouble eating. But is the absolute sweetest soul you will meet.

He will be having surgery in the morning to repair the hole in his mouth so that food does not go into his sinuses any more. This is a special repair that will be done by a amazing vet.

How do we keep doing it day after day, night after night, minute after minute? Humans were not built to have so many heart aches, so many problems to solve that are not theirs. But this is the life of rescue. Never having a life of your own cause you have to figure out other peoples problems. You have to beg and plead with people you don’t even know to send you donations so you are able to feed the unwanted and hurt animals you pick up. Then you write others half way across the states and beg for them to help you find homes for them. Loving homes so they never have to worry about what they did wrong and was thrown away for it ever again. (When it was nothing they did but wanted to be loved).
I look in innocent eyes everyday that Pierce my soul with the love they have even as they lay in my arms with their frail bodies all but giving up. I just want to tell them it is all going to be alright, but i know it’s not. The world has a ugly side and it is showing more and more each day.
So I wipe away the tears, pull up my bug girl panties and keep on doing all I can for as many as I can. The pain and heartache has to be tucked away so that we can function and do what needs to be done.
I know we don’t say it enough but THANK YOU each and everyone that is always there when we need. We could NEVER do this without you. ❤️🐶

Today was a blessing. We were able to get 12 yes 12 of our rescue dogs spayed and neutered. Just a small drop in the bucket but you have to start somewhere and this was a huge start in our book. It was a honor to meet and be a small help with the vet.

We picked up this phenomenal silver lab today off of the euthanasia list. His name is Mason. Such a sweet soul. He came in with a silver female that is pregnant. We have her also.

They are on medical hold for now. ❤️🐶

I am reaching out to all our rescues for help. Since we are in Louisiana we are always in fear of tropical storms. And looks like this year we are going to have a lot of activity.

This means our dogs are in danger. We have over 70 dogs in outside open kennels that we are not only worried about with hurricane season starting and looks like there is 2 out there brewing now. But with this heat. Our heat index this week alone is 110.

Please if you have any space at all to help us get these babies out i can transport them to you.
