🪩✨ The puppies are 7 weeks old! ✨🪩

These puppies are growing fast and many will be joining their forever families very soon! They love playing with one another and interacting with us. We have exposed them to daily brushing and weekly nail trims. They have such fun personalities and it has been a joy watching them explore new sounds, sights, and textures. I love these little pups and expect them to grow into wonderful (and beautiful… I might add 😉) dogs.

This week I had the opportunity to meet with our new puppy parents, both virtually and in person. One of our new owners came up with her dad, who is a world renowned canine behaviorist. It was wonderful speaking with them and learning more about what he does.
I am super excited for our new puppy families and the puppies who will be joining their homes. I know they will be well loved and cared for! 🐾❤️

HEALTH
Certifying that their breeding stock is health tested in accordance with the recommendations of their breed’s National Breed Club.
EDUCATION
Promising that they will pursue AKC provided or AKC approved continuing breeder education so that they stay educated on the best breeding practices, including advances in canine health.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Agreeing to comply with the AKC Care and Conditions Policy, including inspections by the AKC, and promising to share with AKC health testing and continuing education documentation.
RESPONSIBILITY
Accepting responsibility for the health and well-being of the puppies they produce and for complying with all laws regarding the ownership and maintenance of dogs.
TRADITION
Upholding the AKC’s tradition of breeding purebred dogs that are happy and healthy.

❤️Where my love for the golden retriever began…

I was born into a home with a golden retriever, fittingly named, Goldie. She was a beautiful dark golden granddaughter of the great Cummings' Gold-Rush Charlie and an absolute sweetheart. She definitely sparked my love for this breed! Since Goldie, I have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed the love of many golden retrievers of varying golden shades and personalities.

The golden retriever is an excellent family dog and I am thankful my children have the opportunity to grow up with this wonderful breed as well. These goldens definitely have a way of leaving a special mark on your heart.🐾

🤎 Baloo is 4 months old today! 🤎
This boy is growing quickly and is just so handsome!When we got home from his vet appointment, Baloo just wanted to sit in the drivers seat for a while. It reminded me so much of our boy, Bear, who passed away in 2021.

These pups are enjoying learning to walk and whimper, they are practicing little barks, and are even starting to play with one another. It’s amazing to me how much changes in such a short amount of time!
