I have been tossing around some package ideas and I need some input… I’ve been thinking about offering a bathing package or a membership option especially for curly coat maintenance. Would there be any interest in a monthly bathing membership option? I’m also considering a puppy package for puppies at least 12 weeks of age through their first year to acclimate them to the grooming process and teach basic table manners. Thoughts?

Due to an overwhelming interest in our bather position, I have decided to bring all applicants in one of the afternoons next week to do a trial run to make sure that it is a good fit before committing to the job. This will be my “interview” for each applicant. I will be in touch with each one today, to set up the time that works best for you. I am excited to see where The Farmhouse is headed! We are all still learning together and I am sure that many will have some great qualities to bring to the business!!!

The month of April is officially BOOKED!!! Wow!!! We never thought we would get to this point! All other requests will go on a waiting list and first available will go to the first in the waiting list. May only has about 7 or 8 appointment slots left. We are blown away by the support of our surrounding communities!!! God has blessed this litttle business so much in the past two years! We have awesome clients and their people are pretty great too😘.

Attention!! The Farmhouse Pet Spa is looking for a part-time bather! We work afternoons from 3:30 until 7:00. Applicants must be able to communicate well with others and have a great deal of patience with our clients! If interested, please contact us at 256-522-9070. Job responsibilities include bathing, drying, brushing, and prepping for grooms. You will have the opportunity for hands on training and learning the art of pet grooming! We are a very flexible atmosphere and a great place to work! Ideal job for a student that loves working with animals and would like the opportunity to learn about this growing business! Must be dependable and handle responsibilities like scheduling and communicating with pet owners. We take pride in what we do and if this sounds like a great opportunity for you, give us a call!

We are busy bees 🐝 at the shop this month!!! I just wanted to say, we see you and we appreciate all of your support for the Farmhouse Pet Spa! We are working to schedule appointments as fast as we can. It has been 9:00 or later every night this week to try to get in as many as we possibly can! If we haven’t scheduled you yet, please know we are working on a long list of requests and rescheduling clients we missed after suffering storm damage and a crazy life schedule! We try to get everyone in as soon as possible but there are only so many hours in a day. We are grateful for all of the love and support from our clients. We will make sure that you get a time as soon as possible and that your babies get the premium spa experience that they deserve!!! Pictured is Mr. Tuck, a favorite 5 week rotation client that always looks forward to his spa day with The Farmhouse!

I have officially turned all scheduling over to my best girls. They have done a great job with getting back to those requesting appointments. Between two Facebook accounts, my personal number, the business number, and people telling me as they see me, it has been impossible for me to keep up with the requests. I am a teacher by day so most appointments are made during our down time at the shop in the afternoons. If we have missed your request, please call or text the Farmhouse number 256-522-9070! We try to accommodate everyone and get you in as soon as possible. Sometimes that means late nights for us and we don’t always get to work on scheduling depending on the demands of the day. Our clients are priority when they are in our care! March is already booking up fast!!! And with warmer weather we anticipate a very busy couple of months! Every groomer knows that the quality of a good groom comes from the bath and prep work. I could not do what I do without these three remarkable young ladies!!! They are the backbone of The Farmhouse Pet Spa!!! I could not ask for a better staff!!! These three keep me going and love on all of those sweet babies each and every day! I am so thankful to have these three to keep me in line!
