Please help this little one, if you can. She has been through enough.
GRAPHIC PICTURE ALERT!! ASHA NEEDS URGENT HELP!

I don't even know how to tell you Asha's story. There are no words to adequately describe how this tiny, innocent kitten has suffered or the evil that threw her away like a piece of garbage.
We don't know how Asha got sick. We don't know what happened to her mom & siblings. We don't know how many days of her four short weeks of life that she battled this awful infection but we suspect it was more of them than not.
What we do know breaks our hearts into tiny pieces. A girl was driving down the street when she saw the car in front of her stop & set what she thought was some trash out on the side of the road. The car then drove away without a backward glance. As the girl pulled forward, she saw that the "trash" was moving so she stopped her car and got out to investigate.
What she found was Asha, a tiny kitten whose eyes were so infected & crusted over that she could not see as she stumbled around helplessly, unsure how she found herself all alone in a strange place. Those people left her to die, Angels. They didn't help her, they didn't take her to a vet or ANYWHERE that might could ease her suffering. They put her out of the car & left her where, except for one kind girl, she would have slowly starved to death and died. Alone. Sick. In pain. Helpless.
But thankfully that didn't happen. When the girl realized it was a kitten, she took her home and began looking for help. That's where we come in. We MUST help. We cannot bear what was done to this tiny baby and we cannot allow her to suffer for one more minute.
Asha has a very serious upper respiratory infection. She is sneezing non-stop and so much discharge is coming out when she does. And her eyes... her tiny, precious little eyes... We don't know if they can be saved but we have to try!
Asha was rushed straight to one of our best ER vets, where she will need to stay until she is more stable. She needs IV antibiotics and fluids & eye ointment & pain medication. She may eventually need surgery. If you had seen her trying to rub those damaged little eyes with her tiny paws... I am crying just thinking about it. How much they must hurt!
Please, if you can spare even the price of one cup of coffee, we are BEGGING you to donate it to Asha. Her life has just begun and she deserves the VERY BEST. They say one person's trash is another person's treasure. Asha is our treasure. Won't you please help her? Go to www.angelsrescue.org/donate and click on "Donate to Cat Rescue". Put "Save Asha" in the purpose line.
The name Asha means "hope and life". We hope & pray that she has the life she deserves. Every donation gets her one step closer. Thank you in advance if you can help! If you can't donate, please SHARE! Sharing saves lives.
