In training, riders should have discipline — think of making every minute productive. For example, there are only two ways to walk: a relaxed walk with a long and loose rein; or with contact, marching forward and following the neck movement. And not on the cell phone! Every moment in the tack should be spent with your horse and not absent-minded.

Remember: every time you sit in the saddle, you are having a conversation with your horse, and therefore having an influence on your horse’s psychological and physical training.

Who doesn't love a pretty Stocking Stuffer? This stunning Thoroughbred (Double Warrant x Christmastime) was Regular Conformation Hunter Champion throughout the 1970s, including at Upperville with Charlie Weaver in 1977 and 1978 as captured by the legendary Bob Foster. Stocking Stuffer was Horse of the Year in 1975 with Ira Zimmerman and has been inducted into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame.

🐴 Late applications open for submission: January 19, 2024 after 5 PM EST

Don't forget that horses cannot begin training prior to December 1, 2023 other than a maximum of 15 rides intended for assessment and trial purposes.

Buckeye Warrior is a 2016 gelding bred in Ohio by Robert A. Reeves. He made 18 starts with two wins, earning a total of $43,819 and last racing on August 6, 2021.

Nice job ladies!!

Today was our Triple E IEA home show. Everyone did amazing and the show ran so smoothly thanks to all of our wonderful riders and parents.
Our high school tied for 1st and middle school was Grand Champion. Paige was High School High Point Rider and Ella was Middle School High Point Rider. Big thank you to Rae for stewarding! We now have 18 riders qualified for Individual points for Regionals as well as being qualified for team classes. Well done!!
