Most of us, sadly, have experienced the heart-wrenching loss of a beloved fur baby and the seemingly unrelenting emptiness in our lives that ensues. We often go to many lengths to alleviate our searing pain and guilt. We may find ourselves asking, "What could I have done differently?" "Did my pet know how much I loved him/her?"
