Please help us welcome Dr. Kristen L. Ricca, DVM!

Dr. Kristen L. Ricca earned her A.S. in applied science from Camden County College for the Veterinary Technician Program in 2009, she realized that she was destined for more continued her education by earning her B.A. from Temple University in 2015 and further continued on to graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. After graduation she practiced small animal medicine at another clinic in New Jersey for 3 years before joining the team at Peticote Veterinary Clinic. Kristen particularly enjoys pain management, dermatology, end of life/hospice care, soft tissue surgery and wound management. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her Kittitian island dogs Maizi and Mako, getting together with family and spoiling her nephew and two nieces. She is also an avid rare aroid (tropical plant) collector.

Peticote Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, family owned, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. Our veterinarians provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor medical boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas. At Peticote Veterinary Clinic we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years.
