Great day yesterday at Woodedge Horse Shows. Joey and Raspberry Rumble were Grand Champion and Alexis and Surfer Boy were Reserve Champion in Children's Hunter Ponies (the o/f were combined with the Children's Horses). Madison and Robinhood and Alayna and Dreams Untold tied for Grand Champion in Beginner Rider. Molly and Robinhood received great ribbons in Prechildren's Hunter. Bella and Crimson Tide were Grand Champion in the 3' TIP Jumper division. Keira and Crimson Tide received great ribbons in the Itty Bitty Jumpers. Great job everyone!

Triple E had a fantastic weekend at the Thoroughbred Spectacular. Maria and her horse Smooth Sailing (JC: The Boatman) aka Caspian took home Grand Champion in the Beginner Pleasure division. This was Maria's first time showing him! And he has only had a handful of shows under his belt so far. Erica and Caspian were Reserve Champion in the 2' Hunters. Miriyah and Triple E's Calling Card (JC: Dial Operator) aka Zero were supposed to do the 2'3 however Zero sprung a shoe in the morning so they moved up to the 2'6 and took home Grand Champion! They also received 9th in the $1000 Hunter Derby and 8th in the $500 Pleasure Derby. Tamara and her horse Unapologetic (JC: Jones Taxi) aka Jax took home Grand Champion in the 2'3 Hunter Division. Erica and Triple E's Dreams Untold did the 2'9 Sat and then 2'6 Sun (they were combined) and received Reserve Champion. They also took home 2nd in the $1000 Hunter Classic and 8th in the $1000 Hunter Derby. Valentine and her horse Robinhood brought home great ribbons in the 2'6. (Sadly we didn't get a photo of the ribbons from today!) Great job everyone! Way to represent Triple E and the Thoroughbred breed!

Triple E had a great outing today to the Autumn Riders Horse Show at East Freehold Park. To kick off the day, Summer received Grand Champion on Triple E's Calling Card in the Beginner Rider Equitation Division. Addison and her horse Trust in Me received good ribbons in the Beginner Rider Eq and then took home a Reserve Champion in the Beginner Hunter. Joey and Triple E's Raspberry Rumble also received great ribbons. Joey's first off property show and his first show on Raspberry! Rosalind and Raspberry took home a 2nd place in the Young Rider division. Bella and her lease horse Jasper III took home a 1st and two 3rds in the Low Children's Hunter and a 2nd in the M&S Medal. Erica and her Calling Card and Dreams Untold took home Grand and Reserve in the Training/TB Hunter. Great job Triple E Team! Thank you Jaime and Wyatt for all your help!!! Thank you to the parents who make this all possible!

A great weekend at Zone Finals. Amazing horses and serious competition, both Taylor and Bella had great rides, just unfortunately just outside of the ribbons. We are so proud of you ladies for making it all this way!

This was Taylor's first year of IEA! We even got to say hi to an old friend, Mr. Brody.

💙💙 The Triple E Team had a great day at Hunter Farms today! Erica and Triple E's Calling Card were Grand Champion in the Schooling Hunter Division. Ellie and Triple E's Raspberry Rumble were Grand Champion in Lead Line. Alayna and Raspberry were Grand Champion in Short Stirrup Equitation. Alayna's first time jumping in a show! Summer and Calling Card were Reserve Champion in a big Beginner Rider Equitation division. Summer's first time showing off site and first time showing Calling Card. Miriyah and Calling Card received 3 2nd places and would have been Reserve Champion in Modified Rider Miriyah chose not to hack because he lost a shoe in their last over fences round. A great display of excellent horsemanship, Miriyah! Ella and Raspberry received good ribbons in the Beginner Rider Hunter division, moving up out of crossrails. Rosalind also made a move up this show, first time in Mini Stirrup, no longer in Lead Line and received good ribbons. Kristine and her At Last received good ribbons with respectable rounds in the Princeton 2' division. Last but certainly not least, Maddie horse showed on Kristine's At Last her very first horse show ever in a huge division going for just the experience and did a fantastic job navigating through traffic. Her first time riding in a crowded ring. Congratulations everyone!! 💙💙💙

Triple E IEA Team had a great day yesterday at Region 8 Finals. Taylor and Bella qualified for Zone Finals. Our Middle and High School Teams both took 4th place. Year End Awards Our High School Team ended up 3rd in the Region and Middle School was Grand Champion.

Triple E had a great weekend at Woodedge Horse Shows Winter Dream Park Series. On Saturday, Erica and Michelle's Moxy's Gal were Reserve Champion, Amber and her Mo Grah and Vera and Triple E's Raspberry Rumble had great ribbons in the Baby Greens. Vera's first time showing Raspberry. Molly and Valentine's Robinhood and Miriyah and Triple E's Calling Card also received great ribbons in the Prechildren's Division. Miriyah's first time in the 2'6. In TIP Hunters, Erica and her Calling Card were Grand Champion and Erica and Tamara's Unapologetic received great ribbons. Valentine and her Robinhood received great ribbons in the Low Adults. Ada and her Mo Grah were Reserve Champion Mini Stirrup. And Maria and the Caroll's Mo Grah were Grand Champion in the Pleasure Division. Erica and her Idol were Reserve Champion in the Low/Working Hunters. Idol's first show back in over a year.
On Sunday, Keira and Stormi's Crimson Tide were Grand Champion, and Vera on Triple E's Raspberry Rumble received great ribbons in the Itty Bitty Jumpers. This was both Vera's first time trying the Jumpers and Raspberry's as well. Rylee and Stormi's Crimson Tide were Reseve Champion of the TIP Jumper division. Great job everyone! It was a very competitive yet fun weekend!

💙 Triple E had a great weekend at Woodedge Winter Series at the Dream Park. In Baby Greens, Amber and her Mo Grah were Grand Champion and Alexis and her Surfer Boy were Reserve. In TIP Hunter, Erica and her Dreams Untold were Grand Champion and her Calling Card were Reserve and Tamara and her Unapologetic received good ribbons. In Prechildren's, Aly and Calling Card were Grand Champion, Bella and Mo Grah and Molly and Valentine's Robinhood received good ribbons. In the Bit O Straw, Calling Card was 1st, Mo Grah 2nd, and Robinhood 3rd. In the M&S Medal, Bella was 1st, Aly 2nd, and Molly 4th. Alexis and Surfer Boy also competed in Children's Hunter, a move up division for this pair and took home ribbons. Ada and Mo Grah took Grand Champion in Mini Stirrup to wrap up day 1. On Sunday, Keira and Stormi's Crimson Tide were Grand Champion in the Itty Bitty Jumpers. Her first time ever competing in Jumpers. In the TIP Jumpers, Rylee had a clean sweep taking home Grand on Crimson Tide, and Aly and Calling Card and Avery and Laura's Guilded Fox had good ribbons as well. Congratulations team! 💙

The “Heart Horse”----And why that idea may be not something to dwell on----

The riders and drivers who have had lots of horses over lots of years will probably have some favorites, maybe even that special one, and that’s fine.

But here’s another idea, and even though it’s a bit of a psychological mind game, it might help you in your daily riding and training.

Try thinking that the horse that you are riding right now, today, is your favorite. Because if you can at least pretend that, the chances are that you will ride this horse better than if you think that it’s just another horse, simply another day at the office.

And you never know---Many horses that at first glance, first ride, even first year may not impress you immensely, if you give them your good efforts, on the assumption that they will blossom, they may in fact blossom into something special.

A horse that you like, even if you “decide” that you like it more than you actually think it, will be a horse that you will probably ride more softly, more carefully, more consistently.

And that alone, being the beneficiary of your better efforts, may be just the ticket that lets this horse reach its potential. Try it. Think about THIS horse, today, “”This is a really nice horse.”

It can’t hurt and it may well help in ways that you can’t quite imagine.
