GOOD MEWS MONDAY!!! Congrats to our two kitties that went home last week! Shuri and Atom we are so happy for you and thankful that your forever family picked YOU!

Shuri was adopted last year, but unfortunately, she had to come back to ARC when her family was unable to care for her. She was very confused and scared at first, hiding under her bed or in her litter box. But, after a couple of days of getting used to the routine and ARC staff, she started soliciting pets. Then a previous adopter came to ARC, looking for a buddy for her ARC alumnus. Shuri jumped at the opportunity at a forever home! She turned into a purring puddle of affection! She rolled around, head booped and purred her way into her new mom’s heart! She sealed the deal and is now living the life!

Atom was also returned when his family could not care for him any longer. He was happy to join some kitties in the Snuggery and then took the opportunity to entertain the employees, volunteers, patrons and fellow kitties while at PetSmart! He found his forever family there at PetSmart, and they couldn’t be happier to add him to their loving home!

A huge thank you to last week’s adopters, welcome to the ARC family!!! We really appreciate all who adopt from us. Feel free to drop a picture in the comments and let us know how your furbaby is doing since being adopted. We love seeing all our former residents in their forever homes!

GOOD MEWS MONDAY!!! Congrats to our ten kitties that went home last week! Chevy, Aveo, Davis, Sourdough, Speedy, Schatzi, Miko, Mia, Mika, and Truffles we are so happy for you and thankful that your forever family picked YOU!

Chevy came to ARC with his sisters and mom from Meade County. They got to grow up with all the love and doting from their great momma, Malibu (still available at PetSmart!), while getting all the socialization and attention from their foster family! Chevy was a hit with his new dad and he is an “only child” and absolutely loving the love and attention he gets!

Aveo is one of Chevy’s sisters, and the last of their litter to find her home. Last week we dropped a teaser for her future home, and…. Aveo is a lucky kitty who gets to share her forever home with her sister Cruze!!! Their family saw her at PetSmart and knew she needed to be with her sister and them! These two girls are loving their new home and life together!

Davis came to ARC with two other kitties in need of help when they were found neglected. All three were scared and shy at first, but Davis quickly came around and was very sweet and friendly with people and other kitties. Davis’ dad was looking for a kitty and came to meet several at ARC and PetSmart, of course none of the kitties he met with made the decision easy. Davis must have worked a little extra charm and was chosen for his forever home!

Sourdough was adopted earlier this year, but sadly his family could not keep him when their situation changed. He was understandably confused and scared when he came back to ARC, but he is a resilient guy and was making us biscuits in no time! He also made lots of friends when he moved into the Snuggery! He is loving his new human family and kitty companion! Sourdough is surely making biscuits and charming his family!

Speedy was trapped during a trap-neuter-return project, but was just a little guy and SO friendly! Instead of returning to a life on the streets, he stayed in a foster home until we had an opening for him to be neutered. He didn’t waste any time charming potential adopters, even working the crowd at the spay/neuter clinic! His family just stopped by ARC to meet kitties and next thing you know they Speedy made his way into their hearts! He now has a wonderful human and kitty family!

Schatzi was found as a tiny kitten abandoned in a community. Her rescuer could not keep her, but a new ARC volunteer answered the call and agreed to foster her. Over the several weeks she was in foster, she thrived and really hit it off with her foster family! She was finally ready to be spayed and consequently ready to head to PetSmart to find her forever home. Her big day came and off she went to PetSmart… however, a few hours later, her foster family came to get her and bring her HOME! Her absence, as short as it was, left a void that only she could fill!

Miko, Mia and Mika are siblings found and taken in by one of our amazing foster families! They were young and their mom was not around, but they were in good hands! They thrived while in their foster home and were soon ready for adoption. Miko was seen by his family while at a PetSmart Adoption Event, and they knew they had to make him a member of their family! Mia and Mika took a different approach and decided they love the life they have at their foster home, so they went ahead and made it their forever home!

Truffles was lucky enough to be born in a loving foster home. He, his siblings and momma, got to live in a comfortable and loving foster home until they were ready to be adopted. He is the last of his litter to be adopted, but he is staying put in his foster home! He is a fun-loving kitty who stole the heart of this foster family and is so happy to make them his forever family!
