Ok they said he's doing good that his valve pressure was 170 and like the miracle that it is it's down to 40

They said he has a little hardening of the heart wall but it may correct itself since now the pressure has decreased

He gets another echocardiogram in 3months but he will get an EKG in 2weeks and then again in 3months.

I just had to drug him to calm down. I gave him the ½ pill that acted as though it energized him. So out come the big guns another dose of the alternative. He is out

John Henry was discharged from the hospital. Now the hard part. Medicines, and rest and the cone of shame for 14 days. He goes back in 2 weeks. Still accepting donations we have medicines and echo cardiograms to pay for in the next month. Pm for venmo info. Thank you in advance

I'm sharing difficult news. We raise puppies as supplemental retirement income, with 68 healthy puppies raised. However, today our worst fears were confirmed.

Our recent litter of four puppies underwent initial exams, with three passing with flying colors. Storm, however, was diagnosed with a grade 4 murmur. A cardiologist's examination revealed a blockage restricting blood flow to his lungs and an opening in a right-side artery. Two significant issues.

Fortunately, heart surgery can correct these problems, allowing Storm to live normally. Without surgery, his lifespan is two years. Pet insurance covers pre-existing conditions after 365 days of continued coverage, but time is crucial, it will only continue to harden the wall of his heart.

I'm starting a fundraiser via Venmo or cash/check, aiming for $8,500. We have $3,000 to put towards him. Any support would be deeply appreciated.

When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

Lightning and Rain are sweet. Rain reminds me of " the Professor" she will be on the smaller side like a good nap in your arms. Lightning is all in with belly rubs and snuggles.
