Today we said "safe travels" to a resort favorite dog. Mika has been coming to our resort for awhile and has quickly become our group play grandma. She always makes sure the young pups feel welcome in the group! We will miss her and her amazing mom dearly! We wish them well on their big move!

Teddy is a retired hide-and-go-seek champion who needs a forever home.

This sweet striper feels pretty overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of shelter life and spends a lot of time tucked away in his hidey hut, but we know he's a sweetheart lap cat once he's settled in a home - you might even call him a Teddy bear. Teddy goes crazy for chin scratches, catnip, and rotisserie chicken. He was bullied by another cat in his last home, so he wants to be the only pet in his new family.

We have two very special birthdays today! Mrs. Lucy is turning 4 years old today! She is sweet little maltipoo mix! Mrs. Sarai is a yorkie and today is her first birthday! Both of these sweet girls love to play with their friends!

Our Pet of the Week is the impossibly cute and unbelievably sweet Miss Mac!

Miss Mac is a 3 year old shepherd mix who's ready for a fresh start to life. She was transferred to us from another shelter along with her 7 puppies. She spent some time in our puppy nursery raising her young ones and stealing the hearts of our entire isolation staff.

Unfortunately, this love bug is heartworm positive and will have to undergo treatment after she's adopted. But looking on the bright side, the entire cost of her treatment has been covered by a generous donor! That means her forever family can focus completely on giving Miss Mac all the love and support possible while she goes through the treatment process.

Miss Mac thanks Purina for providing delicious food for all felines and canines at the shelter as they wait for their forever homes.
