$100 Prize Money sponsored by who is also debuting a thrilling new jump! This class will be judged by a panel at the walk and is open to spectators and equine competitors alike.

Here’s the big announcement everyone has been waiting for! The $200 Horse & Rider Costume Class sponsored by will directly follow the Mini Prix. 👻

This flat class will be judged at the walk and halt in both directions. The judging panel will rank each horse from 1-10, prize money will be paid out to the cumulative top three.

The Horse & Rider Costume Class is open to riders of all ages and equines of all sizes. Competitors, please be mindful that your costumes are not overly spooky.

1.20m competitors here is your chance to fine tune your riding! The rumors are true… Pilates will intensify rider effectiveness with body awareness, strength, and control.

We’ve all heard the sayings about dressage queens and their obsession with Pilates. But how else can we explain their finesse of tempi changes, canter pirouettes, and piaffe?! ⚡️ PILATES ⚡️

And it’s not just for dressage queens! Ask course designer or show manager how Pilates has exponentially improved their riding.

Plus equestrians will feel right at home in the Pilates studio with all the double ended snaps, leathers, protocol, and an instructor pushing them past their comfort zone. 📢

Not only is sponsoring $200 in prize money for the 1.0m Division they are also presenting the division winner with a gorgeous dark green PS of Sweden saddle pad! 😻

All divisions feature two classes, Table II.2 and Table II.2b. But what does this mean?! Here’s a brief explanation… 👇🏼

Table II.2 is a Speed round giving riders one opportunity to clear all fences in the time allowed. Riders who clear all Speed fences in the time allowed will be ranked with the fastest rider winning.

Table II.2b is a Speed round giving riders one opportunity to clear all fences in the time allowed. If they succeed riders will immediately advance to the Jump Off after the second buzzer sounds. The Jump Off is a shortened, faster course. Riders who clear all Jump Off fences in the time allowed will be ranked with the fastest rider winning.

Table II.2a is a speed round followed by a call back jump off. Our Mini Prix will feature a call back jump off for the top three, regardless of faults.

Visit our website for the August 7th prize list and use the link below to enter! There are a couple changes for this event since it will be held on the grass at the Virginia Beach Polo Club/Alpha Omega Farm!

Show starts at 10AM to make sure the grass is dry! We will also only be having one class per height (no "divisions"). We will still offer warm ups, the Open Jumper Classic and the Puddle Jumper Classic. Additionally, we will run a Cross Rails class! Also, make arrangements to stay after the show (or come back) to watch a polo match!

Online entries are encouraged and will receive $5 off their total entry fee, so get your entries in early! Let us know if you have any questions!
