The severity depends on the object’s size, location, and material. Winter can be tough on pets! 🐾 Here’s how to keep your furry friend safe when the temperature drops. If you think your pet may be cold or have cold-related concerns, our urgent care team is here. ❄️

✔️ Bundle up for warmth – Just like us, pets can feel the chill! 🧣 Make sure they have a cozy sweater when you head outside.

✔️ Keep them hydrated – Even in the winter, your pet needs fresh water. Quench their thirst with fresh water (and change their bowl often).

✔️ Protect their paws – After your walk, make sure to wipe off any snow, salt, or ice that could irritate your pet's paws.

✔️ If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for your pet! 🐕🐱 Keep outdoor time short and watch for signs of hypothermia like shivering or lethargy.
