No fancy marketing just the heart of a lion and the most amazing team ever to gather items and pack us up within 48 hours of the request for veterinary help in western NC. Sending the first team out this morning to assist the National Guard with veterinary needs and a truck full of donations! God’s speed team thank you to everyone who made this possible!

Someone brought this sweet girl into our hospital. She was found at Pleasure House Point near Brock Environmental Center. She is microchipped but we have not been able to reach the owner and the pet’s name is not listed. If any information please contact us at 757- 481-2800.

GNVC advocates for medicinal intervention to combat the stress and anxiety pets may feel during these celebrations. Please call, text, or email to request a refill of these medications, or ask if this is appropriate for your pet.

As previously mentioned, the Fourth of July holiday can lead to a lot of anxiety. This anxiety can cause an animal to run away in fear or hide. To prevent this from happening, leave them inside or in a safe place they feel comfortable in.
