I have been doing what we, in our shop, refer to as "hell week" for roughly 8 years now. This usually takes place the week before Christmas and we will work from 8 am till 8 pm - sometimes its been even later / sometimes its been earlier. But in this time we take in all the pups and get them all ready for the family visits, the smell good snuggles and love for all around ! And honestly It's fun . It's exhausting. And we get a little silly once the 8 hour mark hits and we know we still have 3 or 4 hours to go ! Laugh or cry right ? 😂 But I really do love it, i strive this time of year. Its gotta be one of my favorites - besides Halloween ofc :) But I've got to say this has by far been one of my favorite hell weeks! The clients have been amazing and patient and the dogs have been funny and loving and just great to work with . My staff has been phenomenal . 🙌 It's been a challenging transition with the changes in our salon this last year, but they've gone above and beyond what anyone could ask for . I wouldn't be where i am without them. All around 2024 will hold the standard for all the hell weeks to come! With all that being said, we will be closed until January 3rd this year ! -- I know we usually return on the 2nd but the 2nd is my kid's birthday and I'm determined to spend it with her this year ! 😁 We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year !!
