September is National Service Dog Month!! 🐾🎉

Service Dogs are individually trained to perform tasks that mitigate a documented disability. While dogs can provide emotional, social, and safety benefits for their handler, these are not tasks that qualify a dog as a Service Animal under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

🌈 On this Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, Mutts With A Mission pauses to honor the life and service of Kali, one of our beloved Service Dogs who recently crossed the bridge.

Kali was one of the first Service Dogs trained through our Puppy Raising program and faithfully served his recipient and our mission with unwavering dedication. We are grateful for the years of service he gave, and we will continue to carry forward the mission that he so proudly represented. 🐾❤️
