We love getting updates from our graduates! Tater was placed as a Facility Dog with BPD Ofc. Hobbs serving in the Bellevue (Nebraska) Police Department in May and has made a big impact in that short time! We're so proud of our Facility Dogs and everything they are able to accomplish! ❤️🐾

June 27th is PTSD Awareness Day and we stand with those who carry the invisible scars of trauma. This day serves as a powerful reminder that mental health matters and of the importance of fighting the stigma surrounding mental health.

We will continue to raise awareness, support, and ensure our heroes Never Walk Alone. ❤️🐾👣

Temps are rising in Hampton Roads as summer is now in full swing! ☀️🥵 Make sure you keep these things in mind this summer to keep your pup safe in the heat! ❤️🐾

Hot Weather Alert: Keep Your Pets Safe! ☀️

As the temperatures rise, it's essential to ensure our furry friends stay cool and comfortable. Here are some tips to keep your pets safe during hot weather:

Hydration is Key : Always provide fresh, cool water for your pets. Dehydration can be dangerous, so keep an eye on their water intake.

Avoid Overheating : Limit exercise during peak heat hours. Opt for early morning or late evening walks when it's cooler.

Shade and Shelter : Ensure your pets have access to shaded areas and never leave them in a parked car, even for a short time.

Watch for Signs of Heatstroke : Excessive panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting can be signs of heatstroke. If you notice these symptoms, move your pet to a cool place and seek veterinary care immediately.

Paw Protection : Hot pavement can burn your pet's paws. Check the ground temperature before walks and consider booties for added protection.
