Do you need help with what to do if your dog is fence fighting?
Oakley is definitely starting to show signs that she has decompressed. Tomorrow marks 4 weeks she has been out of the shelter. 2 completely with us and daily visits from her new dad Sean Uren and 2 now going home nightly with him and on weekends! She definitely knows she has found a new daddy and she is testing the boundaries in every way. She always enjoyed a good fence fight with the Littles behind us but while trying to impress the "new humans" in her life and hoping to secure herself a stable home she had excellent recall from the fence! We've seen her do it and we will get her back there soon. It's actually good to see a dog decompress and finally feel comfortable to be thier true self around you without fear or judgment. If you recently adopted a dog roughly 4-6 weeks ago and you are seeing new unwanted behaviors please don't give up on the dog please know that just means they finally feel like they are safe and found thier forever home don't make them wrong just contact us if you need help!

Your too big to be an ankle biter π
Oakley used to live with a smaller dog which is probably where she picked up ankle biting as a way to engage play. She has been observing daycare while decompressing and after 3 and half weeks we paired her with the dog that matched her energy level and playstyle we could tell to the best of our ability but we will be taking this one dog at a time so every experience is a #Right On one and she doesn't overwhelm anyone or get overwhelmed π₯°#dogsocialization #doggydayschool #dogmanners
It's always nice to have others you can count on to help you out when you're on vacation. Although Amigo and Charley just met a couple days ago he has observed enough interactions with him and the pups to not only trust him with them, but to deny his request to switch out the play room for the resting/living room when Charley asked lol

Charley is the first dog Hapa gets to play with and I'm not sure which one is more excited about it but they are both doing good at controlling the excitement and not letting it overwhelm them which coincidentally they both struggle with! #doggydayschool
Socializing during Imprint Period
Socializing in a group!
Chopper stops by for some 4th of July puppy lovin'. Socializing at this stage is just as much important for older brother Amigo as it is for these young pups. They are very fortunate to have parents that want them to have very fulfilled lives π₯° This week our focus was on Socializing both separated and in a group as observational learning is very much a key to success π
Charley is doing much better socializing in a group! Now it's time to work with him more on his sit and crate command. Suzabelle and Halsey worked on thier fence arguing this week and we look forward to working more on that with thier new neighbor and our new pack member Hapa real soon! Thank you to all our 4th of July Pack parents β€οΈ This was definitely the most eventful and most productive holiday weeks yet! MORE VIDEOS TO COME Keep watching π
Murphy's Been Introduced to Charley Boy!
This was Murphy's first vacation with us, so we started introductions off slow. Charley is the newest member of our pack and being a boxer mix his energy and excitement levels fit very well with Murphy they had a great time together this past weekend π₯°
Vacation Care the Right On Way! Wish I could have thier energy π
It's hard to believe how well this pack is doing so quickly! Thier Dad and two legged brother really did a Right On job getting them prepared for thier first vacation! As you know these breeds have Neverending energy and can easily get over excited especially since half of this pack is still in the puppy stage of life. They are already looking forward to down time and individual attention π₯°
We have a new pack joining ours! These are some super smart pups and they settled in and picked up on things so quick. Hopefully after thier vacation we'll get to train the family too π€
This was Joey the puppy's first ever Right On pack fun day! Everyone was excited to meet and sniff him. He did very well with listening to corrections from both other dogs and humans and has pretty good play manners for a young pup of his age except for the occasional sitting on the bigger dogs lol. He is definitely in for a fulfilled and eventful #rightonvacation
Blue Is learning so much everyday. It's so great to see him blossom with each new Right On pack member he meets. He learns so much from every dog as they are all as different and unique as we are!
Blue is learning to become a social butterfly during his #RightOnVacation! He has been introduced to dogs of various ages and personality types. Petey is under 2 years old and also like Blue he is still learning proper play manners in a daycare or pack setting as he also typically lives alone. With proper supervision to help with a little direction from time to time these two do just fine together or in a small pack!
We are so proud of how well Blue did for his first ever Right On Spa Day. Although we are not a grooming salon we do offer grooming services as an added service to our training and vacationing clients. Luckily there was no need to desensitize him to the process as he thoroughly enjoyed it all!
Blue and Bella are both considered Senior Canines and Blue's parents were recently concerned about his ability to get along with other dogs as was Bella's Dad when she first joined our pack over 8 years ago! As you can see though with the right guidance most dogs can learn to respect each other and not have confrontations. Stay tuned for Blue's next test!
Jack Jack Muzzles Up
Jack Jack has been studying hard these past few days. His primary focus has been polishing up his graciousness when dealing with others, however he has also done a lot of work on facing his fears head on and controlling his excitement when the situation warrants such which can be very difficult for a pup under a year such as himself. It is always so wonderful to see them young pups blossom and tackle new adventures and then they become TWEENS ugh!
