Boxer Rescue is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005. Boxers and Buddies provides a safe, humane sanctuary for abandoned Boxers and other breeds who are waiting to be adopted. B&B is funded solely by private donation. Our entire organization is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our group works for the love of the breed and to see dogs find homes. Our available dogs come from local shelter

s, from the streets or from owners who turn them in. We are always filled to capacity with scared, confused and very stressed out dogs. They are with us because B&B is their last hope of finding a new life. We are their temporary haven until they are adopted into a loving permanent home. Before they can be adopted, each dog is evaluated for temperament, must be sterilized, microchipped and their shots are updated. B&B has a training program for those dogs who need rehabilitation or have behaviors which need to be modified. B&B stands apart from other rescues by rescuing any Boxer, regardless of age or health. We feel that they are all worthy of a real chance at life. This policy means that we are subject to frequent and expensive veterinarian costs. Medical expenses are only one of the major cost B&B has to pay each year. The cost are endless: food, mortgage, utilities, insurance, shelter fee, and the costs go on and on. Saving lives is not cheap but someone has to do it! It takes over $250,000 each year to keep B&B open. We are constantly seeking funds and support. We need your help. We depend on our donors and our volunteers to keep B&B open to any Boxer in need. We appreciate your compassion by including a rescue Boxer into your life. Please spread the word and continue to support our efforts.

🎄 Day 10 of the 12 Dogs of Christmas – Walter 🎄

Walter is a 2-year-old Pug–Basset Hound mix who came to Boxers and Buddies after being rescued from euthanasia with a fractured pelvis. Thanks to care, therapy, and time, he’s been healing — and showing just how gentle and resilient he is.

Walter is sweet, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his people. He doesn’t need much — just patience, love, and a safe place to continue his recovery.

Walter has been waiting for his second chance.

Reindeer is a 9 week old Lab mix who arrived with his six siblings, all hoping for a fresh start and a whole lot of love. We don’t know what this litter endured before finding their way to us, but what we do know is this. This litter is sweet, gentle, and ready to trade uncertainty for a warm home and a soft place to land.

He, and his siblings, are still learning that the world can be kind, and they are doing a great job at it. With a little patience, consistency, and love, Reindeer, along with his siblings, are going to grow into an incredible companions.

Warning: extreme cuteness ahead 🎁
These seven Lab mix puppies are serving up nonstop holiday cheer and puppy wiggles. Garland, Nutcracker, Ornament, Reindeer, Snowflakes, Topper, and Wreath are 9 weeks old and will be ready to head to homes next week.

They’re playful, sweet, and already experts at stealing hearts. One minute you’re scrolling, the next minute you’re imagining puppy cuddles, chewed wrapping paper, and a new best friend by the tree!
