Boxer Rescue is a nonprofit organization founded in 2005. Boxers and Buddies provides a safe, humane sanctuary for abandoned Boxers and other breeds who are waiting to be adopted. B&B is funded solely by private donation. Our entire organization is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Our group works for the love of the breed and to see dogs find homes. Our available dogs come from local shelter

s, from the streets or from owners who turn them in. We are always filled to capacity with scared, confused and very stressed out dogs. They are with us because B&B is their last hope of finding a new life. We are their temporary haven until they are adopted into a loving permanent home. Before they can be adopted, each dog is evaluated for temperament, must be sterilized, microchipped and their shots are updated. B&B has a training program for those dogs who need rehabilitation or have behaviors which need to be modified. B&B stands apart from other rescues by rescuing any Boxer, regardless of age or health. We feel that they are all worthy of a real chance at life. This policy means that we are subject to frequent and expensive veterinarian costs. Medical expenses are only one of the major cost B&B has to pay each year. The cost are endless: food, mortgage, utilities, insurance, shelter fee, and the costs go on and on. Saving lives is not cheap but someone has to do it! It takes over $250,000 each year to keep B&B open. We are constantly seeking funds and support. We need your help. We depend on our donors and our volunteers to keep B&B open to any Boxer in need. We appreciate your compassion by including a rescue Boxer into your life. FOSTER NEEDED ASAP! This 3.5-year-old Great Dane is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He's gentle with dogs, cats, and even kids. But being alone is still hard for him. When he’s left alone, he can get a little destructive—not because he’s bad, but because he’s scared. With someone nearby or in a safe, dog-proofed space, he relaxes and just wants to be near. He rarely barks, loves car rides, and adds just enough pull on walks to keep things interesting. He’s not perfect—but he’s so worth it.

On May 30th, Boxers and Buddies, Res-que, and Pawsibilities join forces to raise funds to help control the over population of stray dogs at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Reservation. Funds will go to provide spays/neuters and vaccines for at least 100 dogs. A $100 buy-in to our inaugural poker tournament gets you dinner, entry to the poker tournament, and $1500 in poker chips. Congrats to Beth Dutton, who you may remember recently took her freedom walk after being on the Euthanasia list. This girl is still timid around strangers and new situations, but at home she is learning how to be the best girl! Her mom and dad, and her fur brother and sister absolutely adore her and promised her she will always be safe with them!

Happy tails all around! Shamrock, now Lucy, has found her perfect family, complete with a loving mom and big sister, Roxy! Blarney, now Rusty, is heading off to live his absolute BEST life being completely spoiled by his big family! And Charlotte, now Tilly, will be living her dream life in the mountains, joining her parents at work! We couldn't be happier for these amazing dogs.
