RIP K9 Fortune 😞

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Fortune, after a brief illness. He passed peacefully Saturday night with his loving family by his side.

As Tulare County’s first courthouse K9, Fortune impacted the lives of children and victims of crime more than we will ever know. After joining our DA family in 2016, Fortune quickly became a trusted friend not only to those we serve, but to us, too.

We will be sharing more about how Fortune served his community and beyond in the coming weeks. But for now, we will cherish his memory and strive to continue his legacy of serving the most vulnerable among us.

It was a pleasure hosting our Congressman, Central California Legal Services, Inc., and our AMAZING Partners Carol and Tony from the Freedom Canine Program at Valley State Prison in Chowchilla.

We had the amazing opportunity to show the Congressman our facility and how we serve California’s Veteran community from the City of Visalia a through joint community efforts.

Please help us congratulate our co-founder & visionary as he has graduated from Purdue Global Law School.

4 years ago, Matthew Corso decided to go back to school, in large part because he recognized the need for Veterans and civilian service dog owners to have access to legal help for a variety of issues that are frequently faced by people within these demographics.
