Hey San Diego, Vista, and North County... Freddie's Place and the good folks at Frontwave Credit Union, are still collecting pet supplies for the CA Wildfire Relief. We are asking for:

- Blankets and Towels
- Water Bowls
- Pet Food (dry or canned)
- Collapsible crates or carriers
- Leashes and harnesses
- Toys and treats
- Heating pads and hot water bottles
- Litter and litter boxes
- Cleaning supplies

It's estimated that 1000s of pets have been displaced due to the wildfires. Many have been found and moved to temporary shelter at multiple locations. These facilities are overcrowded and low on supplies.

For those outside of the Vista area, or who would prefer to give a money donation, our friends at the Frontwave Foundation will match your donation.

It's National Vet Tech Week, and we wanted to recognize the wonderful and dedicated staff that we have at Freddie's Place Animal Hospital.

Vet Techs are the unsung heroes of the veterinarian world. They are likely to be the first kind face you see in the exam room with your fur kids, they are often the ones who give shots... take temperatures... give release and after care instructions... and work hand in hand with the veterinarians on staff.
There is also an unseen portion of the job where these heroes work tirelessly in the care, feeding, ongoing in clinic care, and even give comfort and love to any of the pets we see.

During this week of recognition, we thank all of our Veterinary Technion's and the rest of the incredible Best Care Anywhere Team at Freddie's Place. You are the heart of our operation and a big part of the reason we are successful!
