Welcome to Amanda and Hailey’s Parrot sitting service. Avian boarding services out of our home. We provide avian boarding services out of our home.

We understand how difficult it can be to find quality care providers for your avian friends while you are away from home. Individualized care and social support are extremely important to us. Due to this, space is often limited to ensure your bird/birds are receiving the best care possible. I have over 20 years of exotic care experience and am currently employed with the largest parrot sanctuary i

n the northeast as the Intake and Adoption Director and Avian Care Specialist.

- Daily fees:

- Little friends - Budgies, Cockatiels, Finches, Parrotlets, Lovebirds, etc. $15.00

- Small friends - Conures, Caiques, Hahn’s Macaws, Senegals, and Meyers parrots - $20.00

- Medium friends - Amazons, Eclectus, African Greys, Severe Macaws, Gallah, and Goffin’s Cockatoos. - $25.00

- Larger friends - Macaws and large Cockatoos. - $30.00

If you are unsure which size category your bird falls under please send us a message! We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. There will be a $5.00 additional fee (per day) for medication administration. If you volunteer for an avian rescue organization you will receive 20% off your total bill. Thank you for volunteering! If you are boarding multiple birds, $10.00 off each day will be deducted for each additional bird. What to bring:

Things to consider bringing with you to help your bird feel as comfortable as possible while you are away:

- Current diet and feeding instructions.
- Favorite treats
- 2-3 favorite toys
- A cage if you are not using ours. Please check with us for availability. All birds will be offered a fresh chop each day. All birds must be disease-tested within 1 year of the boarding date. Psittacosis testing is mandatory. When booking, you will receive a questionnaire to help us better care for your bird, a waiver, and an service estimate.

Miss Gabby has been visiting us this week for her first time. Boarding can be a little scary the first time with someone new and in a new environment. After a couple of days she got the hang of things and is becoming more comfortable! Just in time for her mom to pick her up tomorrow 😂
