Prairie Branch Kennels High fence training minimum of 4 nights a weeks. Like most people in the c**n hunting world we started this adventure by pleasure hunting with friends.

Our family has always enjoyed hunting with hounds, whether this be deer, rabbit, or c**n dogs. As our passion grew we discovered the competition world, starting with PKC. Going to PKC hunts instilled even more passion for the sport. As we learned and grew in the competition world we branch out into UKC. This is where showing dogs added to the love of the sport. As time went on our whole family has become involved whether it be hunting, showing, or raising puppys.

Pups say it may be freezing but they are ready to go. We are going to take the next couple nights off. It’s 29° already and there’s a lot of water standing in the pen. They have clean full buckets of water, fresh hay in the houses and they got extra feed today. We did run a little in the play pen this evening. Y’all stay warm this week.

Last night was our first night back out since the 1st of September. This month we have Sage, Baby, RaRa, Kk and FedEx and a few of our own that will be joining the fun will be Hans, Solider, and Ms. Tallulah. Anybody want to come walk behind some pups come on I’m sure we will have a great time. 🤣 Oh and we still have one little friend hanging around 🤦‍♀️🐍

We have had an exciting morning. Had to rush Mila to the vet to be check and I guess the ride wiggled the first pup loose. We have had 4 pups so far in the truck 🤦‍♀️ now we are headed home to see if she has any more.

Let the girls run in the pen this morning while I was cleaning kennel then made a loop around on the 4 wheeler.

I guess she thought since it was her last night here she would show me that she knows what to do. It wasn’t pretty but we will take it. Can’t wait to see how she turns out.

This is what happens when you’re sitting there talking about how cold it’s going to get tonight. Every dog we have except Red is inside and he has a heat lamp.
