5 weeks--how did we get here?! Some days I wasn't sure we ever would and others flew by! Puppies are growing and eating like little bears! They change almost daily. Families will be picking soon! I made my final choice today... Name still not set in stone but this pink collar beauty reminds me so much of her mama, she just has to stay here. ❤️ I weighed the babies yesterday and will post their weights... I cannot believe the babies are going to be 5 weeks old next week!! Starting at the middle to end of the week, (my son's wedding is next week so please be patient 😍) I will be contacting those of you on my waitlist to see who gets to join who's family. So exciting! For now, here's a little update-

Mr. Lake-Green collar male-- he has tried, and at times succeeded, in passing his big brother, RipTide, up in weight. They're usually pretty close, but Rip consistently maintains a tiny edge most days. At 3 weeks, Lake weighed 3.46 pounds and like his siblings, loves to eat. I have no doubt he's going to make someone a new best friend in a few short weeks. 💚

From the biggest yesterday, to the smallest today--meet Cove, light pink collar female. She may be little but she's mighty. She's not one to get pushed around and can hold her own in the group. When it comes to taking a supplemental bottle feeding, she sucks it down like it's nobody's business. My guess is she'll catch right up to the others in no time. At 3 weeks, she weighed 2.32 pounds and she also had no time to hold still for pictures. 😜

Taking a short break from puppy posting to repost this guy....

Tuff is a 3 year old boy from Kasia's very first litter. Ace is his sire. Both Mom and Dad have OFA good hips, normal elbows, OFA heart clearances and have passed their genetic screenings for cystinuria and degenerative myelopathy. Ace is CGC and therapy dog certified. Tuff is not with me, he's still with his family but they are wanting a home for him where he is preferably the only dog. He's still intact and is having dominance issues with the other dogs in the home. He did a two week trial with a gentleman who lived at his place of business and he was struggling with so many people coming and going. Meeting new people made him uncomfortable. In talking to his mom, he's not been outside of his home much in his life. So all this to say, he needs that special, right fit. It is my belief that none of it is a lost cause or not fixable, but it will take some work and some time for this big guy. If anyone is interested or would like to talk more, please send me a message. Tuff deserves a home where he can thrive. ❤️

Chance- 9 months old- practicing for CGC test- the definition of a lazy, stubborn newfie 😀❤️ When I train, my goal is for the dog to come just by using their name and the command "come." I don't want to have to coax, beg, clap, whistle, smack our lips, bend down, treat, etc. If he's ever in a dangerous situation and I need him to come now, I want him to do so without a second thought or me talking him into it. His reward is the praise and affection he gets once he obeys and 'comes.' Can we just say, we're still working on it?! I tried it all! 🤣 Good thing he's cute.
