Last week the Six-Horse Hitch Classic Series World Finals were hosted in Shipshewana, Indiana. We would like to congratulate each and every exhibitor on their hard work and success leading up to and during the show!

introducing our final youth ambassador for the 2025 year- Hannah Freitag!

Hannah is now in her second year as a Youth Ambassador, and we are thrilled to have her in the program! She loves meeting new people and sharing her passion for Belgian draft horses, while also promoting the Corporation and Alliance. Hannah is deeply involved in various equine disciplines, including barrel racing, pleasure riding, jumping, ranch riding, and showing mini ponies. She competes with her Belgian draft horses in driving, riding, showmanship, decorating, and judging events. This year, Hannah’s goal is to become an even better horseman by the end of the show season. A fun fact about Hannah is that she is a 4th-generation Belgian breeder and showman!

New York State Fair results have been added to the Merit, Hitch and Youth standings. We are still waiting for information on youth judging and riding There are several registered cart classes missing horse information- please reach out to Michelle to get that information updated.

Introducing another Youth Ambassador for 2025, Lincoln Laabs!

This is Lincoln’s second year as a youth ambassador, and we love having him involved in the program! Lincoln loves meeting new people while traveling and seeing places he has never seen before. Lincoln has been actively showing for Mystery Hills Stable and Berry’s Belgians along with Beistle Bros Percherons in Hartford, WI. His goals for the season are to better himself every time he goes in and out of the showring and gain more knowledge about all things Draft horses along with working towards getting his own Belgians in the near future.
