We grow ours without the magical little puffs, but did you know the leaves are packed with some heavy hitting nutrients. Vitamins A, C, and K. Iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. It’s also great for gut health because of inulin, a soluble fiber blah blah blah…🥱
Try it raw in salads or sautéed. You’ll find some fresh this week in your subscription boxes and at the farmer’s market this Saturday.

**We don’t recommend picking your own from yards because of toxic sprays that may be used for yard maintenance.

We are starting to harvest peppers and tomatoes! Whoever is signed up for a subscription (or signs up today) and is the first person to comment will receive these peppers for FREE on Wednesday.

Who wants to work with us?! We are looking for 1-2 individuals that are wanting to work 20-30 hours. The primary job would be to harvest our delicious greens.

We are also looking for someone to be our Operating Director/General Manager. Slide in our DM’s if you want more information about either role!

Who wants some free lettuce?! Waco Farms is a hydroponic greenhouse. We can grow up to 4,500 heads of greens a week. This job is completely inside. As a grower, you will be part of team of five other individuals who transplant and harvest all the greens.

Work starts at 9 and usually ends around 3. We are flexible if you need to miss work or something comes up. 20-30 hours a week total. Dress is casual. It is recommended to wear crocs or other shoes that can get wet.

The preferred candidate is someone who is a hard-worker, team-player, eager to learn and determined.

Opportunities will be provided to learn how everything at the farm works if the candidate proves to be great at their job.

Interviews begin immediately and work can start as soon as March 21st.
