i spy eight little puppies 👀

on march sixth we had quite an exciting day & keira welcomed eight sweet little f1b goldendoodle puppies into this world.

what is your pups favorite trick?

Keira’s favorite trick is saying hi! 👋🏼 anytime you are near her with any kind of food, she will either shake or say hi. since day one, pretty much anything that involves her paw and doing a trick is her favorite. 🙈

what has been your favorite purchase you’ve made (pup related)?

usually whenever you are taking pictures out and about, the leash 90% of the time ends up in the picture so our cute neutral leashes from have definitely been a fav for us! and just to add a cute piece to a pic this bow tie is 👏🏽

do you let people pet your pups in public?

this weekend, we took the pups to our local farmers market, and they were one of the few doodles there and the attention was high lol. we think that is polite for someone to ask to pet our pups first so they have a second to calm down and sit, so they don’t jump on the people (this is something we are working on!), but we always let them pet them! this was one of the first outings with the pups in awhile and we weren’t sure how it was going to go but it went great!

happy birthday to our bulleit! he has been such a blessing in our lives and i cannot brag about him enough 🤪 when we lived in an apartment with him, one of our neighbors left a note on our balcony saying that they walk past our building everyday and admire him! he got to celebrate the most special moments with us at our wedding and will get to celebrate many more. 🥰 hope you enjoyed this fifteen second video of some of our favorite times with him!

what did you do + have done to socialize your puppy?

we got Keira at six weeks which is earlier than you usually would get your puppy, so we had to wait a bit longer to be able to take her in public places. in the meantime, we worked a lot on training at home like sitting, staying, and lots and off leash walking!

do you celebrate your pups birthdays? this guy turns one on the twenty-eighth! i cannot believe how fast the time flew by 😭 they go from a small fluff to a big fluff OVERNIGHT!

does your pup know any tricks yet? we have been working on stay, heel, shake, and sit pretty. all of them having been going really good! he is VERYYY treat motivated which is really good when we are trying to teach him something new.

you snooze you (don’t) loose 💤 do you sleep in or are you an early riser? if it weren’t for work and this dood. we would sleep in!

copper wakes up every morning at six am waiting to go outside to go potty. we’ll just say he has a morning routine that he is pretty consistent with 😉 but don’t be fooled cause we will sleep all day!

peeking into 2021 intentions and asking myself why we didn’t get a terms and conditions list 🙈 honestly though 2020 had some good parts like the family time and some of us welcoming new pups into our lives (!!!), it was a pretty tough year for all of us and so we had our hopes high for 2021 and so far it has been pretty good! ✨ what have been some highs for you and your fam this year?

where did my baby boy go?!? we got him at 12 weeks old so we kinda missed the puppy puppy stage but he still felt like a puppy and now he’s gotten so big and his personality is starting to show! he definitely seeks affection and we love it! 🥰

we are getting back to our normal routine! have you gone back to work and started getting back on a routine yet?

it’s sort of bittersweet getting back on a routine because the family time was great! we got bulleit + got married! our family is a huge outdoors family, hiking, fishing, etc... and although we’ll still get to do all that stuff, there is not as much time. although i do feel like getting back on a schedule will be a good thing ✨

new puppy alert ✨ how many doodles is too many!? asking for a friend 😉

if you missed it, we welcomed a new puppy into our family! copper is an unexpected but more than welcomed surprise puppy. we found his sweet picture and instantly fell in love, and the next day we picked him up! the pups ADORE him 🤩

happy first day of October 🍁
the humans made my puppies little bandanas for this fall photo shoot. i think they look precious! also they are officially a week (and a day 😉) old!

update: they have really been growing that past week and it’s pretty obvious that they are not as little as they were when they were born. they have now all found their forever homes and they will go their November 14!
