Michelangelo is practicing his polite Thanksgiving greetings!
Because nothing says “holiday magic” like a pup who knows what to do when guests walk through the door. 🧡

Here are the tips we used:
🍂 Practice before the big day
🍂 Use your leash for management
🍂 Try a little Greet & Retreat — say hi, back away, reset, repeat.

A confident dog is a calm dog… and a calm dog makes for a very peaceful Thanksgiving. 🦃✨

Today’s adventure at Mollie’s Dog Place: Puppies vs. The Weird Human World! 👀✨

Strollers… wagons… grocery carts… walkers… crutches… wheelchairs… even that loud rolling suitcase 👀
Most puppies see these things and think:
“Ma’am… why is that chair on wheels coming toward me??”

So we introduce them early — calmly, safely, and with LOTS of treats. 🍪💛

This builds:
✔️ Confidence
✔️ Emotional regulation
✔️ Real-world readiness
✔️ And dogs who stay calm everywhere — stores, sidewalks, airports, holidays, you name it.

Because brave puppies grow into brave adult dogs.
And we’re here for every step (and every wiggly tail) along the way. 🐶💕

Today Milo learned that sometimes the best way to calm our big feelings… is to think through them. 🧠💛
Puzzle games help anxious pups shift from “fight-or-flight” into “focus-and-figure-it-out,” giving them confidence, control, and a safe way to settle.
Proud of you, Milo — your world got a little bigger today. ✨
