This is one of the biggest body Nyala's that has come through our shop so far.
The African Nyala makes for a great Floor pedestal if you don't have room for a lifesize mount.
If you go the floor pedestal route we always recommend doing Nyala skin inlays in your wood base so you get some of the amazing color this animal has to offer.

Skeletal preservation for Majusia the maltese terrier. Her taxidermy was completed a while ago, but degreasing an entire skeleton can take up to an entire year extra. She's finally completed and ready to head homeShe was an old girl and a lot of her bones either had arthritis or were bowed, particularly her front legs. Her nails are also missing since they were needed for the taxidermy mount. It made it a little bit more difficult to piece her back together but we got there in the end.
