My sweet Bane passed today. He was born in Tennessee but got to Texas as fast as he could. He made his presence known by squeeking loudly when I returned home, entered or even walked by his room, and upon hearing anything that sounded even remotely like the crinkle of a bag.
If Bane had it his way he would have been a house pig, he hated being fenced in. So much so that he learned how to move the wire panels and chew through their fasteners - allowing him to make his great escape. He then would peruse around the house at his leisure until his loud squeaks, toe taps, and trail of p**p gave him away. He would give me this look, as if he was saying “nothing to see here lady” and zoom away.
He loved attention and adventure almost more than chin scratches and his brother Clark. He was a character and unlike any pig I’ve ever known. He is leaving a huge hole in my heart and will be greatly missed. Thanks for letting me be your mom Bane. 💔
