SEASONAL APPLE BARN MANAGER NEEDED!
Location: Deardorff Orchards, Waconia
Duration: August 1 - October 31
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday,Sunday

Job Overview: Deardorff Orchards is seeking a dedicated and organized person to oversee daily operations during our peak season.

Key Responsibilities:
* manage all sales activities, operate cash register
* ensure shelves are stocked and product displays are attractive and well-maintained
* develop and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels
* provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns

Qualifications:
* strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* effective communication and leadership skills
* ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced paced environment

Deardorff Orchards will close for the season on Saturday, October 28. We will be open 10-5:00. Not open on Sunday, October 29.

Parley Lake Winery remains open. On Saturday, October 28, there will be music from 2:00-5:00 by Nikki Walsh!

Due to a small crop of apples this year there are no pick-your-own apples available. We have decided to close Deardorff Ochards for this season, as of today, September 19, 2022. Thanks to all of our loyal customers!

First day of picking Zestar apples will be August 21st.
This season the orchard will be offering pick-your-own in the field only, Open Friday-Sunday 9AM - 3PM.

We will be following Covid19 guidelines including : social distancing, staff and guest wear masks, group size limit, and number of customers picking limited.
Everyone's health and safety is a priority so the hard choice was made to not have the barn shop open, school tours, no pumpkins animals, wagon rides, pull wagons.
Again "simplicity" selling our award winning apples out in the field. You will have apples fresh from the trees.
Follow the signs to the field. Each day the Field and Variety being picked will be posted on facebook.

Please be sure to check it out our website before coming to the orchard. Reservations are required.

2020 Apple Season starting Mid -August

The orchard is loaded with apples. There will be pick your own apples with modifications due to Covid 19.

Gather at the Apple Orchard. Sunday is our last day for this season! There are a variety of apples including Haralsons and Fireside to pick, the barn has a few season favorites left. Enjoy everyone's favorite
cider and donuts.
Open Sunday 10 am. Pick apples till they are gone. So get here early. Afternoon music and Arcane Kitchen food truck on site.
