It’s been a fun summer at the barn so far! This last week everyone at the barn went to a barrel race. We had a blast and all the horses worked great. There is a ton of coming and going at the farm lately while everyone is in the middle of competition season!

“Can you tell me more about your facility and what board includes?”

The barn is newly built with a heated 163x84 indoor arena and barn. There is also a massive 200x300 outdoor arena and a trail loop through the woods.
There is a wash stall, bathroom, and washer/dryer.
Our pasture board horses are kept in mud-free paddocks from late fall until spring in groups of 2-4 and then out on grass in summer in a small group as well if the owner prefers.
Our horses have 24-7 access to high quality hay which is typically an alfalfa mix. All our paddocks have shelter and auto waterers.
Each boarder gets a bin for their items as well as saddle and bridle hooks in our tack room.
Our barn is CLEAN.
We have a fantastic small group of people.
We have one of the best ferriers and vets in the state that visit our barn.

We are working on getting Salty (Ellen’s Spoonful) in foal this spring. However, it appears she missed the memo that you’re supposed to put on weight AFTER you get pregnant 😆 She is fully embracing broodmare life. She already identifies as a mare in foal 😂. we are hopeful to see a 2024 baby by her side 🙏

Even though Molly and I didn’t have the finals together I hoped for I couldn’t be more thankful for the chance to run her down that alley. We took a stride by first and that was enough to put us out of placing. Next we are going to Waco and then to Fort Worth, thank you to everyone who was cheering us on!

Hi everyone!

A few winter farm updates. ❄️

First of all, while we are grateful for all the interest, we wanted to formally post that we are not offering any more open riding/haul in riding for the remainder of the winter.

We are doing this for health and safety reasons and also in order to keep our barn uncrowded and secure for our personal horses, boarders, and the people who pre-purchased winter riding. We had noticed quite a few horses coming in with coughs and because of this it’s best for things to be limited.

Second, we do have a waiting list for board currently. If you are interested in boarding in the future, please get in touch with me to be added to the list.

Third, if you are looking for a barrel horse always feel free to check in with us. I do not have anything formally for sale right now but inquiries are always welcome.

I feel so thankful and blessed that Molly & I took 4th in the .tr short round last night and will be advancing to the American finals in Abilene on Feb 10th. We had some trouble and got by 1st and 3rd a little bit, but I didn’t give up and I’m so glad Molly ran her heart out for me.
