Loomis Quarter Horses is a family owned and operated training, showing and breeding facility located on the St. Lawrence River in Waddington, New York. With over 30 years of experience in the equine industry, Scott Loomis offers training and showing expertise, specializing in reining, halter and western pleasure. Our facility consists of a 200 X 60 indoor arena, 20 spacious box stalls, outdoor pen

s and round pen and many turnout paddocks, making us one of the premiere equine facilities in Northern New York. Each season brings exciting goings-on at the farm, so please keep checking back. Whether it be spring time foals, summertime show season or the two annual consignment horse and tack auctions we feature, there's always something happening.

Hay?! Do you need hay?
We have small square bales, and net wrapped round bales for sale. First & second cut are available. Hay is a grass and legume mix, never rained on. Perfect for your equine friends. Contact us for more details!

Ranch riding patterns are a great training aid for both horse and rider, no matter what discipline.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the rehearsal dinner for our son, Colin's, wedding. Scott and Mary did a beautiful job decorating the barn and we welcomed over 60 people for a lovely meal from Gideon's Galley. Colin and Morgan had a beautiful wedding on Sept 9, and we are so happy we could be a part of this special time in their lives. Thanks to all our friends and family that made it possible!

Congratulations to Scott and Mary’s son, Connor O’H. Loomis, PhD! Connor received his doctorate in biology from Binghamton State University.

Connor’s dissertation is titled “Nest Site Selection, Sociality, and Colonization Patterns of Vanguard Fish Crows (Corvus ossifragus) in Ithaca, NY”
