🌟Foster Friday: Why Not Lola??🌟

481 days. That's how long sweet Lola has been waiting for someone to see her...really see her🥺

She's spent over a year watching other dogs come and go while she stays behind, not because she's "too much" or "not enough", but simply because she needs a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace. Lola is gentle, loyal, and so deserving of a soft place to land. She doesn't ask for much-just someone willing to take a chance on a dog who's been overlooked for far too long.🐾

Lola is Spayed, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. She is a 2 year old Carolina Dog mix.

Meet Lola!
Lola is a gentle, introverted girl who's slowly finding her confidence. While she may be shy with new people , she absolutely lights up around other dogs-they're her comfort zone and help her feel more at ease. Lola is incredibly smart, attentive, and loves to run and explore the outdoors.
She's potty trained, kennel trained, and deeply loyal to her people. Lola will need to be in a home with a fully fenced in yard. Though she's not overly food motivated, she's motivated by the presence of other dogs and would thrive in a calm, quiet home with another pup to show her the ropes.
Lola is starting to come out of her shell and even discovering her voice. If you're looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who just needs a little extra love and patience, Lola is waiting to meet you.

Every day Baldwin greets us with a happy smile, even though his heart is hurting. He doesn't know why he's still here... and neither do we. He's well-behaved, loving, patient, and ready to give his whole heart to someone. He's been passed up too many times-let's make this the week someone finally chooses him!

Baldwin is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines.
He is a 3 year old Rottweiler mix.

Baldwin is a stunning Rottweiler mix with a calm presence and heart full of love. This handsome guy is kind, gentle, and soaks up attention like sunshine. He loves being pet-especially getting those good ear and head scratches-and is happy to cuddle or nap the day away by your side. With his serene demeanor and lower energy level, Baldwin is a great leash walker and an all-around easygoing companion. He's very smart, treat-motivated, and takes treats gently. He already knows how to sit and is picking up new commands quickly. Baldwin enjoys being outside, playing, and spending time with his favorite humans. He gets along well with female dogs but would do best in a cat-free home. Baldwin also doesn't mind a good bath! While he's affectionate, he also appreciates having his own space when he needs it. His favorite thing is playing ball! If you're looking for a loyal, mellow, and loving buddy with a playful side-Baldwin might just be your perfect match.

Update: Pending Adoption

Are you missing this little lady??

She was brought in this evening by the Wadena P.D.
She was found at the Eastwood Inn.

She is a female and is about 10-12 years old.
She was wearing a pink collar with no tags and is not microchipped.

She will be on stray hold until Friday, if not reclaimed, she will go up for adoption.

Another successful visit to Lunde Auto Sales!!

We brought four of our shelter dogs out this weekend, and they all did amazing!❤️ New places, new people, lots of love-they handled it like champs.

So proud of these sweet pups and grateful for the chance to show everyone just how sweet they are!

Reminder: We will be at Lunde Auto this Friday and Saturday from 12-2pm! We can't wait to see everyone!

Our last puppy is still waiting...and we know her family is out there somewhere. She's been in the shelter for a month, watching the world pass by-but she's still full of love, hope, and puppy joy. She deserves to grow up in a loving home, not a shelter.

Clifford is our oversized sweetheart-a Great Dane mix who's still growing into his big body. He's a goofy, clumsy, and playful boy who loves to run, flop around, and make everyone laugh. Clifford knows how to sit, walks well on leash, and is very motivated by food and treats. He's a snuggly pup who bonds closely with his people and would make a great protector.
