Thank you and shout out the amazing work our WCHS fosters do for our precious animal's lives!

This is Petra, hard to believe from this picture that when she came to us, she was so shut down and scared all she did was curl up in the corner of her kennel and shake. She wouldn't let anyone pet, walk or interact with her in any way.

A foster took a chance on her and brought Petra into their home. With the foster's love and the help of their dog Max (behind Petra on couch), Petra has become a playful, loving and trusting pupper. We are hoping for a foster failure but, if not, Petra will be a loving addition to any family!

THANK YOU to all our WCHS fosters! We couldn't do this without you!

She was brought in on Friday by the animal control unit. She is not fixed and is roughly 6 months old. She is a very loving girl. She will be on stray hold until 12-12. If she is not claimed, she will go up for adoption. We will need proof of ownership.

Meet Houdini🐾

Houdini is a very loving boy and is still looking for a family to call his own. He is a longer stay here at WDCH and has so much love to give. He is a fun boy who loves to play outside and run around. He loves toys and enjoys feeding time the most. He is becoming a real gentleman! He is about 11 months old.

In order to find Houdini a loving home, an anonyms donor has paid Houdini's adoption fee!!

Lab/Pitbull mix: Found off of Hwy 10 in Verndale this afternoon. She is a female and is about 4-6 months old.

Saint Bernard: Found on County Rd 24 this afternoon. Male fixed and roughly a couple years old.

If either of these dogs are yours, please call us at 218-632-5938 to reclaim. They will both be on stray hold for 5 business days before going up for adoption. We will need proof of ownership.
