Maggie May, my sweet baby girl and now my sweet angel. I know she is safe and loved over the rainbow bridge. She is reunited with all of her animal friends in a beautiful meadow where she can run and play. There is fresh water for her to swim in. There is a beach nearby. She can run on the sand and play in the ocean. She is in her heaven, happy and free. And one day we will reunite. Until then, I know she is in my heart. I love you Maggie May with all my heart and soul ❤️ 🌈💕✨💜

🌈🐾 Ogre was by all accounts, a gentle giant. He was adopted from animal control at four years old and weighed 120 lbs. A large, big headed, black American Bulldog was a scary sight but if you knew him, you would know he was the softest dog and loved everyone. He quickly warmed up our highly anxious dog Woobie and became snuggle buddies with him. He was the only dog our cat became friends with and would frequently sunbathe in the lights of the window in the afternoons. He was patient and affectionate with everyone and became a slobbery nanny to all of the foster babies and kids he met through our home. He was extremely adept at meeting people and animals where they were at; whether it was high energy play, curled up together, or watching us cook in the kitchen hoping a crumb would fall. He was one of our favorite “hello’s” and an extremely difficult “goodbye”. We were blessed to have him in our lives for as long as we did have him. Our 5 year old daughter Nixie would like to say, “bye Ogie, I gave you hugs and kissies bye bye to you and I hope you feel good in heaven and not hurting anymore. I love you Ogie and play with all the doggies in doggie heaven, bye Ogie”

We know the holidays can be a wonderful time of year, but also extremely difficult when you are grieving the loss of a loved one ❤️💚

Sending love to those who are feeling alone, angry, or not joyful. Sending love to those saying no to social events, to those just trying to make it through this holiday season. Sending love to those spending their last holiday with a loved one.

This holiday season, we are giving back to our community as we fight to end animal overpopulation and houselessness 🐾❤️🎄 We are working with some pretty incredible people at Mission Aloha Foundation, Aloha Animal Outreach, and Hawaii Dog Foundation who are on the ground every day to make this happen. Our goal is to make basic veterinary care accessible to ALL animals, and to reduce overpopulation, houselessness, and unnecessary euthanasia by spaying and neutering!!!

Dogs are the best companions and we miss our beloved pals Lani and Winnie so much. Lani passed in April 2024 and Winnie passed in August 2024. We love and miss them and look forward to meeting with them again someday!

To be at home where he felt safe was very comforting. To send our Scrappy to play forever with his brothers and cousins was beautiful and so peaceful. Dr. Kelsie was such a godsend, so kind and caring. To offer this wonderful service takes a very special person and she is just that. Love and miss you so much Scrapps! You gave us so much joy and love. Rule that cul-de-sac in the sky 🌈 Run free, play hard and eat endless treats my gorgeous boy!😻💕

❤️🐾 LOOKING FOR MY FUREVER HOME 🐾❤️

My sweet foster girl, Charlie, is all healed up from surgery and looking for her furever human! She came to us last month with a fractured leg that had been broken for over a month and gotten infected…so she’s living her best life as a tripod now 😍 but that doesn’t slow her down! She is running and wrestling with the big dogs like it’s nothin!

Charlie is VERY nervous and shy when she meets new people. She will need somebody patient and kind, who will take the time to work with her to build confidence and independence. Once she warms up, she is the biggest cuddle bug and will be doing zoomies around your house and yard in no time! Charlie will do best in a home with another dog to show her the ropes and to play. She has done well with my cats 🐈‍⬛ would appreciate a stable adult home, or older children. Young/excitable children will probably be overwhelming to her at this stage.

She is spayed, vaccinated, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention 👍🏽 if you would like to open your heart and home to the sweetest girl in the world, please reach out!!!

One of our missions at Hale to Heaven is to malama our community, kupuna, and neighbors in need! This weekend, we joined forces with to provide free to low cost veterinary care for 75 pets, as well as sponsor spay/neuter surgeries for 20 dogs and cats!!! We couldn’t do this without your support. Mahalo for being a part of this journey with us🙏🏽❤️🐾

Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.

Our house is lonely.
Our hearts are sad.
But when we think of you in Heaven, we can't be mad.
We envision you running through grass, sand, and hills, playing with all our family and friends in Heaven, never sitting still.
All the chewed up slippers, and broken toys, surrounded by everything that has always brought you joy.
Unlimited treats, enjoying juicy meats, never having to beg, and always and forever being well-fed.
While you are missed greatly down here, pain free is what we imagine. We love you forever, our girl, our hearts are forever impacted.
