Amidst all the changes around our ohana…Hapa has officially found his perfect Guardian home on Oahu! His new ohana is exactly the fit we were hoping for and he has his new part-Cavalier fur brother Buddy to chill with 🥰 We definitely miss this sweet and spunky boy (especially Kelzie!) but know this is beneficial for us all - we’ll be seeing him soon enough and wish him well 💗

The Local Grinds litter are all settled in their homes as of a few weeks ago 🥰 Everyone is doing well and taking their cuddle buddy jobs seriously! They were a wonderful litter and it’s a joy hearing all the great feedback as they adapt to their new ohanas, new fur and kid “siblings” across Oahu and Maui - our Hanai family just keeps growing and we love it 💝

Six weeks old and raring to go! All are looking amazing, so sweet and smart. Crate training is going very well, at least 80% going potty outside and exploring more every day. All have homes, three on Maui and two on Oahu 🤙🏽

Kila is now a Big Island boy! He is with his hopeful Guardian ohana, we're all giving it a month to make sure it's the perfect fit...but so far so good 💖 He is living with Jake (Mango from our Island Fruits litter) and they are off to a great start!

Kahana and myself are training hard! We're definitely enjoying our classes and learning to be a team 💪 Basic training classes (or online if that's your preference) are essential - especially if you get an older puppy or adult. It's great for bonding and both get to learn together! A trained dog (and owner) is a happy dog (and owner 😉)

Half way to go home day! These sweeties are THRIVING 😎 Spending time with the “big kids”, started crate training/introduction, beginning to potty outside, eating puppy kibble and drinking water and being the most cuddly fluffs ever. Look at them grow! 😍 All are over 2 pounds, out in our general living area and are slowly beginning to interact with the rest of our crew.

They all have absolutely beautiful personalities, inquisitive, and friendly with little puppy tails always wagging. Since their teeth are here, they are starting a slow introduction to puppy kibble before weaning begins next week.

We’ve had some interest in Spam and Musubi but no perfect fit for them yet - they aren’t worried though, with Spam’s kissable white lip and Musubi’s dapper white mustache…they know they’re a catch 😎
