Getting cuter by the day! At 5 weeks old, ʻĀkau is so sweet, super aware and loves his momma best, Hikina is playful, confident and gets in the silliest nap positions, Hema is a big softy, loves cuddling and his Blenheim sis is his favorite and last bust not least, Komohana is so inquisitive, loves her Hapa papa and bursting at the seams personality wise 💞

4 weeks already 🤯 Now 2 lbs 8.5 oz to 2 lbs 12.1 oz, they are a bunch of chunky monkeys! Vocalizing more and more, we are loving hearing the little puppy barks 😊 Their teeth have erupted, play time is getting more fun for all of them with each other and their puppy toys.

Last weekend Hoʻomaka (now Teddie) and Welina (now Cozy) from the Aloha litter (Puaʻa x Pēpē Meli) went to their new homes on Oahu! Everyone welcome the Compass Star Litter! These little ones are named for the 4 points of the compass and for the fact that no matter which way you turn, there is cuteness all around 😂

They are all very healthy weights, from 14.6 to 15.4 oz, there is no shortage at the milk bar! As per usual, this week has flown by and Nohea is being an exceptional momma.

They are just a bunch of little nuggets now, continuing to get their daily ENS exercises, but besides that they simply live the sweet life, relaxing in their whelping box ☺️

I’m reaching out to a few more people on our contact list for ‘Ākau the black and tan boy, but the others are already reserved for their new families 💝 Hikina will be staying on KAUAI, Hema will be going to OAHU and Komohana will be heading to MAUI when the time comes!

The Kauai puppies joined their new ohanas on Saturday! Sweet Kinohi (now Whisky) and little Hopena (now Ella) had their final groom (and as seen by their ears were ready to take flight 😆) and landed in the loving arms of their new owners 🥰 It can be a bittersweet day but we have been blessed with wonderful puppy families and love how our Hanai ohana continues to grow!

8 week puppy pictures for the Aloha litter! Had to go a little more casual since we’re balancing their litter, family things and Nohea’s new little ones 🤪 But these pups are amazing, doing so well with their crate training, are the happiest and most loving little things and the time has come where they are starting to fly the coop 🥹

They’re here! 🥰 Nohea gave birth yesterday, it was a slow start and sadly the first puppy (a tri-color boy) was stillborn and we went to our amazing vet because of the lack of contractions and didn’t want to chance losing any more puppies.

Thankfully a quick shot and a couple hours later, we had a happy momma, a black and tan boy, a ruby girl, a blenheim boy and a blenheim girl! It’s bittersweet knowing she had a beautiful rainbow litter and the tri not making it but everyone else is thriving so far and they are just beautiful 💝

Nohea is proving to be an attentive mom and Hapa is now a very proud Papa! Litter theme will be announced soon 📣 and I will slowly be reaching out to those on our contact list so don’t be surprised if you hear from me 😉

A very happy new year from the Aloha litter! Growing up so quickly in their 7 (and 6) week update photos! Their 1st puppy vaccines are this weekend and that signals the slow progression of go-home days 💝 They were rock stars with all the fireworks (didn’t bother them one bit!), they are doing 90-95% of their potty time outside, all handle crate time very well and they are the best little cuddle bugs 🌺

5 week pup-date! The Aloha litter is consistently going potty in their potty area, playing with toys and roughhousing together, enjoying and exploring outside, doing wonderful with their weekly baths and from 2 lbs 3.8 oz to 2 lbs 13.3 they are all growing steadily. More and more handling is happening, they regularly seek/ask for attention and eating their puppy food more and more!

On 12/14 the Island Trifecta litter turned 2 years old! I remember them being born like it was yesterday and can’t believe how quickly time has gone. We are so blessed to stay in contact with our wonderful puppy families (from Maryland to Hawaii) and love every single update. It’s such a blast watching them all grow up! Happy birthday to Kona, Cammy and Kai, hope this is a great year for all you sweet pups 💝

Another week of progress for these gorgeous Cavalier pups! The Aloha litter is now four weeks and from 1 lb 13.6 oz to 2 lbs 8.9 oz they all continue to thrive. They fully bark, growl and play with each other, walk and navigate around obstacles and have graduated to the family room puppy pen.

Now begins the process of teaching them the difference between where to sleep, and where to potty and a slow start into weaning since all their little puppy teeth have popped through…momma Meli will be very grateful for that 😉

They are all so good with being handled, getting their weekly nail trims, and getting accustomed to light brushing, they have no problem being on their backs and are very aware of their surroundings.

Introduction to “scary” sounds have started through on hand items as well as YouTube videos and they are doing very well so far.

As always, we’re excited to see what this next week will bring 🥰

Pictures were taken yesterday when they hit three weeks… Just couldn’t get to post about them until today 😆 it’s amazing how much a week can change things, they are all walking around, starting to bark and play with each other, and of course, getting lots of time at the milk bar. From 1 lb 8.6 oz to 2 lbs 1.5 oz, they are all starting to have their little personalities come out, some more chill and others more vibrant, and we have a couple adventures finding their way over the panel in the whelping box so we had to add the second one for more height! It won’t be much longer before they join us in the living room to start taking in the everyday sounds and sights as well as slow introductions to the rest of the ohana 💕

The Aloha litter is 2 weeks old! From 1 lb 2.7 oz to 1 lb 10.3 oz, they are all vibrant little puppies 💞 Eyes have all peeped open, they are crawling around pretty impressively and Meli continues to take wonderful care of them all ☺️ ENS exercises will be ending shortly and I’ll be switching over to desensitization exposure (sounds, smells, textures etc) Their world is still contained to the whelping box with momma but will slowly be getting more handling/one on one time with us as well as weekly nail trims starting. We are absolutely loving watching their growth! 🌺
