Little miss Hikina (now Sachi Nohea) went home last weekend! Her wonderful new ohana has been waiting for their perfect ruby girl from us for 2 years now and we are thrilled their wait is over! Just 8 weeks ago these lovely puppies were born, now they're getting ready to join their forever homes! They are absolutely stellar in every way! Eager to please, cuter than should be legal and as far as puppies go - SO well mannered! They are growing beautifully, all at 4.5-5.2 lbs and we are enjoying all the cuddles and playtimes we can.

We reached out to Sunday Cool Tees to see about new Hanai shirts as well as some other customized products (if you have any ideas, please shoot us a DM!), well they sent the cutest sample of their one of a kind Super Soft Tees and Mr. ʻĀkau of our Compass Star litter was a wonderful little model 🥰 Needless to say, between their customer service (shoutout to Stacia 🌺), prices, and amazing quality, we are definitely looking forward to working with Sunday Cool for all our customizing needs!

7 week pup-date (6 week photos at the end)! I couldn't be more happy with this litter, they are all in the same weight range (middle 4 lbs) and their personalities are so fun. They are getting more confident in different situations/locations, totally desensitized to the vacuum and various sounds (the dogs barking always get their attentions). Seriously, they just get better by the week, all the adults enjoy play time with them, they are doing great with potty training, crate training is going well (still a little reluctance but they settle much sooner now) and they are all so loving and create the cutest puppy puddles (cuddle pile) 😘

Kelzie first started coming around in October, and it quickly became clear how much she loved being here and around the Hanai crew. By the start of the new year, she made it clear—she wanted to officially be part of the team! Since then, she has jumped right in with enthusiasm and a love for learning.

After school and on weekends, Kelzie works alongside us, gaining hands-on experience in all things Cavaliers. She helps with our puppies’ Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises, socialization, and, of course, plenty of playtime.

Kelzie is incredibly smart and a huge help, always eager to learn dog training, grooming, and overall dog care. She’s also gaining insight into responsible Cavalier ownership and breeding. On top of that, she’s exploring graphic design to help create future social media posts! We’re grateful to have her dad’s full support in this journey, and we love seeing her dedication.

We can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes—look out for her future contributions! Join us in welcoming Kelzie to the Hanai Cavaliers ohana! 💕🐾

Getting cuter by the day! At 5 weeks old, ʻĀkau is so sweet, super aware and loves his momma best, Hikina is playful, confident and gets in the silliest nap positions, Hema is a big softy, loves cuddling and his Blenheim sis is his favorite and last bust not least, Komohana is so inquisitive, loves her Hapa papa and bursting at the seams personality wise 💞

Last weekend Hoʻomaka (now Teddie) and Welina (now Cozy) from the Aloha litter (Puaʻa x Pēpē Meli) went to their new homes on Oahu! Everyone welcome the Compass Star Litter! These little ones are named for the 4 points of the compass and for the fact that no matter which way you turn, there is cuteness all around 😂

They are all very healthy weights, from 14.6 to 15.4 oz, there is no shortage at the milk bar! As per usual, this week has flown by and Nohea is being an exceptional momma.

They are just a bunch of little nuggets now, continuing to get their daily ENS exercises, but besides that they simply live the sweet life, relaxing in their whelping box ☺️

I’m reaching out to a few more people on our contact list for ‘Ākau the black and tan boy, but the others are already reserved for their new families 💝 Hikina will be staying on KAUAI, Hema will be going to OAHU and Komohana will be heading to MAUI when the time comes!

The Kauai puppies joined their new ohanas on Saturday! Sweet Kinohi (now Whisky) and little Hopena (now Ella) had their final groom (and as seen by their ears were ready to take flight 😆) and landed in the loving arms of their new owners 🥰 It can be a bittersweet day but we have been blessed with wonderful puppy families and love how our Hanai ohana continues to grow!
