Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii’s goal is to improve the minds and bodies of our riders, using our horses as therapy tools. Our riders build strength in their bodies by learning to groom, saddle and ride. They improve their attitude by learning from our horses and receiving unconditional love that only animals can provide. Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii specializes in riding instruction for the disabled, but provides instruction to riders of any ability.

It's with a very sad and heavy heart to let everyone know that it's time to say goodbye to Puddin pretty soon. We have exhausted every single effort with Dr Manny to try to get him to eat and nothing is working anymore. We still don't know why but certainly tried everything we could. He has been an ideal horse for us, being so kind. He will be greatly missed by all.

While horse experience is necessary, we can also offer training as well as mentoring to become certified with PATH Intl as Registered Level Therapeutic riding instructors. Ok world, we want our mini horses back out on the road to spread joy and healing but we need help with a minivan to do that! Our amazing minivan was drowned in the great Flood of 2018 and our current van has too many mechanical problems to be safe for them. Anyone have a van they could donate to a good cause or know of anyone who does? All the schools, hospitals, senior centers and other places they have been deserve to have them back!
