Potential exposure to H5N1 avian influenza has been identified at the Mililani Pet Fair on Nov. 2, 2024. 🦆 While birds from a flock later confirmed with H5N1 were present, they showed no symptoms at the time, and the risk to humans is low. Please monitor for symptoms like fever, cough, or pink eye if you touched a duck or goose at the fair.
