We are small family run farm with 24 horses and ponies and a menagerie of other animals, living in beautiful North Carolina woodland on the edge of Falls Lake. We are in the middle of the countryside but just down the road from Raleigh, Durham and Wake Forest, in North Carolina.

We are having camp the following dates:
- January 13-17, 2025
- March 10-14, 2025

This morning our emu had a huge wound on his neck. I'm guessing he happened to catch part the wrong part of a pole and cut his neck. He was still in good spirits, walking around and eating. He went to the vet school and they stitched him up. He was a great patient. He is now resting comfortably in a stall. He has to stay in the stall for 5 days to limit his movement. The bill was $1850. We have trail ride availability this weekend!

For our trail rides we teach you how to groom the horse, tack it up, ride around in the arena, and go for a trail ride. The whole process takes about an hour. The horses only walk and a helper might be with you. It is $50 per person. Everyone must wear a helmet (that we provide) and fill out a waiver. Our weight limit is 215lbs.

Meet Cal! Cal doesn't belong to us but is here to do some lessons and maybe some camp and trail rides. It took him a little while to figure out how to live in the herd but now he has that all figured out. He is a very sweet and goofy guy. Cal is about 27 years old, 16 hands, and a warmblood.

Woohoo! It is everybody's favorite time of year! The horses have been going out on the grass for a few weeks. I had to lead Cal down a couple of times as he didn't know what to do (Rizzo had no trouble figuring it out). We have 4 camp spots still available. Posey and Sweet Pea are excited to see you all at camp! (Some may say they are squabbling over the best sun spot 😉) We still have some camp spaces available! June 24-28. Week #2 Cost $480 July 8-12. Week #3 Cost $480 July 15-19. Week #4. Cost $480 Camp weeks #1-4 are open to ages 5 and up. Camp is Monday through Friday 8am to 2pm. After care is available Monday through Thursday $15/hour/child. No experience required. Campers will be split into groups based on age and experience level. Riding portions will most likely be at a walk only.
