Time for another 🤍 This one is a treat, we have Miss Willow, accompanied by her mom, Lauren, and baby bro!

I met Willow about a year and a half ago (right after her brother was born! She also has an adorable little sister 💕). She’s a nine year old doodle and the sweetest little thing you’ve ever met! She was a bit nervous for her first few visits with me, but I’m happy to report that she (dare I say) has learned to love the grooming process. Ah, the magic of 1:1 appointments 🥰 Willow loves to be told how beautiful she is and loves her bows 🎀 here is what Lauren had to say about her first baby:

What do you love most about your dog?
“She has the biggest heart and such a love. Has never met a person she doesn’t love. She’s my best friend and shadow!”

Fun fact about your dog:
“She will only take a treat from me. If the vet or someone else gives her a treat, she’ll drop it until I give it back to her. Stranger danger 😂”

I present to you another 🌟 This week we have the adorable Nash 🩵 and his mama Lauren! I’ve known Lauren and her husband, Tyler for years. I groomed their King Charles Cavalier, Duncan for most of his life. Sadly, he crossed the rainbow bridge last year. That dog had the sweetest eyes you’ve ever seen! This past September I received a text from Lauren “Surprise! We decided to adopt this little guy!” Literally one of my favorite texts to get. You know how much I love my rescue dogs 🥰 Nash has come to us thanks to and is the sweetest puppy. Because Lauren and Tyler have been keeping up with his brushing at home (he’s a labrador with a tiny bit of poodle and bunch of other things thrown in) I’ve just been working on his nails. But this week I was lucky enough to spoil him with his very first professional bath 🛁 🩵

How did you and your dog meet?
“On the last day of September on a beautiful fall day we picked up our new son at a back door entrance from Great Dog Rescue. He was smaller than we expected but perfectly handsome and sweet.”

What do you love most about your dog?
“His 7am alarm clock kisses. His love for all toys humans and dogs and his sweet velvet ears.”

Fun fact about your dog:
“Most days Nash can’t decide which ball he wants to play with so he carries one in his mouth while kicking another and swapping them out.”

It’s week three of our 🌟 I give you the amazing Griffin The Mini Poodle 🐩 and his mama, Danielle 🩶

Danielle was referred to me by another amazing client (what’s up Tucker ). Griffy was a little pup and an adorable one at that. Danielle and I knew right away that he was no way no how going to have any kind of traditional poodle trim; Griffin is a real life teddy bear and he must look the part. We keep him floofy and it suits him so well!

On to Danielle’s interview about her sweet boy 🐻

What made you want a mini poodle and what was it like meeting Griffy for the first time?

“My husband and I got engaged in December of 2020 and a few days later we decided to get a puppy! My amazing cousin Rick had given me the name of the breeder (ARRFS) that he used for his little guy. Lynn (breeder) is the most kind, loving, helpful and caring woman you’ll ever meet. We knew this was the right choice for us. Meeting Griffin for the first time was the best moment of our lives. He is the most perfect fit to our little family.”

What do you love most about him?

“He has so many quirks that make him, him! This boy is so photogenic it is ridiculous! But my most favorite thing he does is when he wants something he puts his paw on the coffee table, stretches out his nails so you can see the grip he has, and stares you down until you figure out if he wants to play, get a treat, go outside or eat dinner.”

What’s a silly fact about Griffin?

“At Deannas old shop, Griffin would see me come in to pick him up and immediately do a chin up on the door and jump into my arms before she could put his leash on and walk him out!”

He has some epically long and strong legs 😂

Week Two 🤍 featuring little Uno and his parents Adele and Bill!

I first met Uno about 5 years ago when he was a tiny pup. A spicy little guy right from the start and I love that about him. He has no idea he’s a Maltese; totally convinced he’s a prince and we’re all his minions. Uno does have a soft side though. If you cuddle him just right he nuzzles in with his little olive nose and melts your heart! I have the pleasure of working with Uno every six weeks. Adele and Bill ask for a simple, easy to maintain style with a nice short belly because he’s basically a floor duster with four legs.

Here comes his bio, questions answered his sweet parents 🥰 Thanks and Bill!

Tell me what you love most about Uno!
Uno is a kisser from day one. The very first time we met him at the breeder’s house he kissed my face. He still loves and plays with the little stuffy chick he got from the breeder. We love that he’s warm, affectionate and even a brat at times but always proves his friendship and loyalty to us.

What are three fun facts you’d like to share about Uno?
1. When he’s excited he gets the zoomies!
2. His favorite human is his dad, they “work from home” together everyday 😊
3. Uno’s always listening, even when he’s sleeping he hears his trigger words.

Very excited to share with you my first 🛁 Meet Liz and Cashew! ✨

Cashew is a two year old Pomeranian who is equal parts fluff and sunshine. I’ve been working with him and Liz for nearly a year. Liz’s goal was to bring Cashew’s coat back to a healthy state after he was trimmed short with clippers at his previous groomers. Pomeranian’s have a lush double coat that should only be trimmed using shears, if at all. With the use of some wonderful products and lots of patience, Cashew’s coat is back to beautiful!

How did you and Cashew meet?
For many years I dog sat for my friend’s dog, Teddy. When Teddy would leave the house would feel so empty. So when I found out Teddy’s sister had puppies I knew my fur baby was one of them.

What do you love most about Cashew?
Cashew brings joy and laughs to anyone who meets him. He makes me laugh everyday and lights up my world! He may be a sour patch at times, but he’s my sour patch.

Cashew Fun Facts:
1) His favorite toy is his mallard. He carries it everywhere and sucks on it at night.
2) Cashew smiles in pictures and very ticklish! He’s a ham.
3) Cashew is a bougie baby. His favorite foods are organic chicken, prosciutto, and cheddar cheese. This is why he is almost a perfect circle.

aCIRD (Atypical Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease) is on the rise across the country. Given the lack of knowledge about the cause of this disease, veterinarians, groomers, and dog owners are advised to be on the lookout for symptoms such as cough, sneezing, nasal discharge, and lethargy in their dogs.

This is an infectious disease (likely bacterial) that is spread through contact with other dogs. I assure you that I am taking every precaution possible to prevent sickness in my salon. I ask that if your dog is showing any symptoms that you cancel your appointment. I am in contact with veterinary professionals and individuals in the grooming industry regarding best practices moving forward.
