It's hard to leave your pets at home when you have errands to run, but being separated could cause your pet to become overly anxious. It's important to be aware of separation anxiety to help your pet overcome it.

Make sure to schedule an appointment with your VCA veterinarian to discuss how to handle your pet's separation anxiety.

The Halloween spirit was here in force today. Besides oodles of treats, here are a few favorite moments:
"Chicken" is a chocolate point Peterbald cat belonging to Kayla, one of our vet assistants. Although Chicken is always a bundle of bones, she was even more so today. As was Gloria, another one of our wonderful vet assistants. We've also included a few of our pumpkins from last week's pumpkin decorating contest. Never a dull moment here!

Dress for Day 5 of Vet Tech Week was a throw back to the 90s. The food selection included pizza, a special cake, and some healthy veggie alternatives. Gifts included veterinary anatomy coloring books as a token of our love. These folks work tirelessly through the happy and sad times, often ignoring their own needs, and always with gentle hands and kind hearts. We are so blessed to have this highly skilled and caring team. ๐Ÿ’•

Yum! We're enjoying some almond dark chocolate biscotti courtesy of Dr. Peter and Faith Honer-Coakley. VCA acquired this practice from the Coakley family in 1996, and Dr. Coakley continued practicing with us for several years until he retired. We are honored to continue caring for their cats, Poppy (pictured here), Jasmine, and Kitzy.
